Kevin Klehr (goodreadscomkevink) | 150 comments To blog or not to blog? That is my question.

Do you have a favorite Blogger, and if so, why do you like their blog?

Red Haircrow (redhaircrow) | 172 comments I don't follow any blogs actually. I do blog, and have a number of followers, but I think because my personal blog is not geared to only a few topics someone might specifically wish to read about(I write about whatever crosses my mind), it doesn't receive very many random hits.

If I did follow a blog more personally directed, I would do so because I know or like the person. Blogs about specific topics like vampires, gay fiction or movies, etc. don't usually keep my attention because I have such a wide range of what attracts my interest.

Red Haircrow (redhaircrow) | 172 comments Are you referring to how many followers I have to my blog? I won't give an exact number because I don't understand why it would be needed, but between my personal website/blog, my review/interview book blog and my Indie publisher blog, I have several dozen.

Thomas | 14 comments I love blogging! I don't have a favorite blogger, but I do follow quite a few blogs that I find interesting or that pertain to subjects similar to the ones included in my blog.

Steven (goodreadscomstevenkerry) I blog on my author page here.In my case, I seem to have a bit of the Andy Rooney thing going on, but since this is site is all about books and reading, I tend to write about writing or books a lot.I try to post once a week, but some weeks I don't get around to it.

Pogue (nulaanne) I blog, and I have many that I read. I do not see the need to follow a blog unless it is someone that I like and they have password protect on posts. I also think if there is a blog the password protect is not needed just don't post that stuff.

Sorry about the rant that does not make much sence I just got off work and have to go back in 10 hours. I need to get to bed.

Stephanie, I'm not sure what you're talking about. Password protect on blogs?

Some of the blogs that I read have many post that are open to all. Then there is a post or two that is tossed into the mix that are password protected. So that if you are not "in the know" the post is unable to be read. I just think that if a blog is going to have public content have it ALL be public. If there is a need to protect a post, it is best not to put it on a public forum.

I have enought passwords of my own with email, work, goodreads ect. That I will not follow a blog that I have to have a password to read a few posts.

I hope that clears things up.

Kevin Klehr (goodreadscomkevink) | 150 comments Thanks Stephanie,

Good point. I didn't realise some blogs were password protected.

I don't follow a blog per se, but read a lot of them on an ad hoc basis, usually from a search I have done on one search or another.

Kym (kymthevirgo) I am a Deaf, Gay blogger. I blog over at: Deaf in the Kitchen. :-)

Kazza (kazzak) | 14 comments I write a book review blog (with some 'observations' thrown into the mix.) I also follow a couple that really interest me. I like the concept of blogs, they offer me different opinions. I like to blog because I get to vent feelings after I read or offer up some advice if people are interested, if they aren't, then they don't look :)
