I had a Neil Gaiman themed wedding because of this book - My husband actually got Neil Gaiman to write his proposal for him in our hardback copy! Needless to say, it's my favorite book ever ;)

Everything was Stardust-y - lots of books, navy and silver color scheme, star favors, book themed table numbers, our invitations were done in the style of Charles Vess (who did a lot of illustrative work with Gaiman), and a bunch of other little stuff. I even gave a copy of Stardust to our florist and told her I wanted everything to feel the way the cover felt!

Needless to say, my husband and I are kind of giant nerds, lol.

Ashley Marie (darlingdoor) | 158 comments The hubby's a pretty rad dude ;)

Neil has a new book coming out in (I think) June 2013. I got to hear an excerpt of it at a reading he gave, and it seems like it's going to be MINDBLOWINGLY good from the little bit I heard! I can't wait for it to come out.

I also started Kitty Steals the Show (Kitty Norville #10) by Carrie Vaughn . At least that's one series I'll be up-to-date on by year's end....

I *so* agree!! I loved that book so much I wanted to give it six stars, lol. My daughters both *hate* that series, but I think it's one of the most amazing series I've read in a long time.

I'm switching away from UF for a while and reading The Given Day by Dennis Lehane . A good friend of mine recommended it to me.

Stephanie (stephaniemark) Finishing up The Name of the Wind (The Kingkiller Chronicle, #1) by Patrick Rothfuss . My response to the book so far: Damn you Patrick Rothfuss! 600+ pages and the plot has gone 2 feet down the road with no answers. I have a sinking suspicion I won't get answers till the end of book 3 which hasn't even been written yet. Sigh!
Still love the book though. Already have The Wise Man's Fear (The Kingkiller Chronicle, #2) by Patrick Rothfuss waiting.

When I started I didn't realize the story would only be barely started by the end of the first book. Now I'm going to go nuts when I hit the end of the second and the third is no where near published
