Everything was Stardust-y - lots of books, navy and silver color scheme, star favors, book themed table numbers, our invitations were done in the style of Charles Vess (who did a lot of illustrative work with Gaiman), and a bunch of other little stuff. I even gave a copy of Stardust to our florist and told her I wanted everything to feel the way the cover felt!
Needless to say, my husband and I are kind of giant nerds, lol.

Wow that really IS amazing Ashley Marie!
The hubby's a pretty rad dude ;)Neil has a new book coming out in (I think) June 2013. I got to hear an excerpt of it at a reading he gave, and it seems like it's going to be MINDBLOWINGLY good from the little bit I heard! I can't wait for it to come out.

It's awesome!! On another UF thread, I saw Cat and Bones nominated as best couple in a UF series, and I completely agree, lol.

I *so* agree!! I loved that book so much I wanted to give it six stars, lol. My daughters both *hate* that series, but I think it's one of the most amazing series I've read in a long time.
I'm switching away from UF for a while and reading
. A good friend of mine recommended it to me.

City of Bones is a great series. I bought the other two in the series for my daughter for Christmas, and I'm planning on sneaking them out of her room soon so that I can read them. ;)

Lol, me too! I have a bad habit of buying books and then finding out I already own them. Luckily, Amazon keeps me from doing that.

I'm enjoying it so far. My daughter is quite old enough to still books from, but almost. I get all the YA I read in actual book instead of ebook so she already has a collection going.
Just finished a new novella in the Lian & Figg series which is one of my favorite urban fantasy series. This comes as a free download currently, with both of the previous Lian & Figg books, plus a short story and a new novella,
Shotgun Rites ends with Lian & Figg both now members of R.U.M.P. (Ruling Union of Magic Practitioners) and I'm anxious for more!
started
. I'm a little daunted by the 600+ pages but I have it on Kindle so at least I won't be carrying around a huge, heavy book

Definitely a doorstop. I'm not sure I could read it if I wasn't reading it on kindle but this way I can't see just how much of the book I have left and feel like I'm not getting anywhere. plus I'm sure my kindle ways a lot less :)

Finishing up
. My response to the book so far: Damn you Patrick Rothfuss! 600+ pages and the plot has gone 2 feet down the road with no answers. I have a sinking suspicion I won't get answers till the end of book 3 which hasn't even been written yet. Sigh! Still love the book though. Already have
waiting.

Now I'm going to go nuts when I hit the end of the second and the third is no where near published
