I also really enjoyed this book.

The Baker Street Letters was an okay mystery but it didn't live up to the premise and in the end was a bit disappointing. Still deciding if I'll read the second one or not.

I just finished reading
The cover says, "If you like laugh-out-loud mysteries, this one will make your day." Romantic Times. Very true!

Just looked and my library has these. Can't wait to start. Thanks.

The second book is really good too!

Also finished

I love this series!! I origninally bought it because it was centered on cupcakes but the characters got me to stick with it!!

I like this series. The 2nd book is the best one, IMHO.

I've read the first one and am having trouble tracking down #2 at the moment. I'll have to see what the used bookstore has for me, but I loved the first one once it got going.

Me too! I really liked this one.

I'm so glad to hear this, Susie, because I had a great time reading

I have a question about this author's books. I haven't read any of these yet and was wondering if it's better to read them in series order. I love the different events and would like to try to read them with the coordinating time of the year. I usually read a series in order because the characters develop better. Is this series meant to be read in order or by the holiday/event?

I have a stack of her books on my bookshelf and havent read them because i like to read books when they are in the right season the only thing i have found about reading them out of order is finding out small events.. I thought there was always 4 children but she is pregnant in an earlier book..so it isnt mandatory if you dont mind a little backtracking here and there..it depends on how OCD you have about chronological order really:) ( My hang up about reading a Christmas book in July won over my need to read things in perfect order with this series)

I'm reading it right now. I don't care too much if the author gives away the suspect -- as long as there's some kind of a twist to make it worth reading.

That is one of my pet-peeves about some of the cozies also. It is my favorite genre, but the "hopefully" unrealisticly stupid choices that some of the heroines make can be very irritating esp. when it occurs over a span of several books in a series. My favorite series is an example. I quit reading Stephanie Plum for a while because I could not understand why Evanovitch did not let her grow at all, learning from MANY mistakes in the past, SO, that said, Moon Signs is now on my to read list.

I totally agree with you, normal and sensible people, something sometimes strange in books. BTW, I think the cover which appears at DonnaCarol 's message is not the same LOL. Tricky goodreads ;)

Glad to hear you liked this one. I just downloaded it and am looking forward to a character that is not TSTL.

This is really, really weird! I posted "Moon Signs" with the book cover. In this reply ... and another one below, the book cover has been changed to "Blood Signs", complete with book cover ... which I've never even read!
????? What happened? It's still Moon Signs in my original post #4605 ... but changes in the first response to that post.

I loved this cozy, DonnaCarol. The good news is that Peg Cochran has a new series debuting very soon, with the first book being released in August -- the title is Allergic to Death. I'm dying to get my hands on it!

I noticed that too, but thought I had done something wrong.Tried to fix it but it kept coming up the same. whew! glad it wasn't me.I was beginning to feel like I fit in with those characters that "never grow" through a series of books. LOL.

Thanks for the heads up on Peg Cochrans August release. I am looking forward to it. It's also good to hear from someone that has read or is reading something that I am. I seem to be picking these "odd man out" books. I need to get with the program and read the seemingly more popular/bigger following series that everyone is talking about on here. I finished Animal Appetite by Susan Conant a few days ago, (whew, kind of intense, but good) and last night finished "Mrs. Jeffries Forges Ahead by Emily Brightwell. I really liked this one.
