. I like the series but the MC cries at the drop of a hat. Way too emotional and immature."I stopped after book two too!
I just finished
Front Page Teaser by Rosemary Herbert and I loved it! Now I'm disappointed that she hasn't written any more *grumble*
Yesterday, I finished
, which ended with several unresolved issues, so now I need to try to find the next in the series!
Finished reading Topped Chef last night. This book was the 'make it or break it' for this series. It was better than the first two - a LOT better - but still not great enough that I'm certain I'll continue with the series. I'll think about it a bit before bagging them up for FOL...
Stayed up late last night and finished Recipe for Treason: A Lady Arianna Regency Mystery. I would definitely not recommend the series to anyone and will not continue with it should the author write any more.
I recently finished
by Alice Kimberley and
by B.B. Haywood.Also
by Margaret Frazer which is more historical mystery than cozy.Enjoyed them all.

I recently finished R is for Ricochet. I have been trying to catch up on this series. I also have 'S', 'T' and 'U' on my bookshelf collecting dust . . . but I WILL get to them.
Just finished Death Comes Silently by Carolyn Hart and loved it. It's been quite a while since I read any of the Death on Demand series.

:(
I finished
, a very good addition to the Cats In Trouble series and, although a few things in the plot seemed exaggerated, I really liked the way the main characters' bond evolves and becomes stronger with every book. I already have
waiting, but I'll take a break from this series for now and get back to it later.

I loved that series, too, Heidi. Hate that there weren't more of them!
Read
The Diva Frosts a Cupcake by Krista Davis A well-written return to a character driven mystery after the upheaval in the previous book.
Finished
. I think I need to quit this series. I just really don't like the main character and her "Granny" got on my last nerve in this one. The only really good character is Morty, the cat!
Nell wrote: "Read

I also got this as a freebie some time ago. I loved this book and can't wait to read the next one. It was actually longer than I thought it would be, about 460 pages. Great reading for it being free.
Read
Murder in Chelsea by Victoria Thompson, artful twist in Sarah and Frank's relationship and a satisfying mystery.
Mentioned yesterday that I just finished Wired by Judith Gaines. Enjoyed the peek into the backroom of the art world. All the more so because my second Murders by Design Mystery, The Monet Murders, hinges on an art theft.
Nell wrote: "Read

I finished
and I really liked it. It seems the mystery wasn't much of a mystery after all but it was still interesting to follow Nell in her effort to help Arabella with saving the reputation of her children's museum, Let's Play. The museum setting was a plus and the new additions, Eric and Shelby are both likable characters. I'll certainly continue with this series.

On my TBR now, thanks.

Thanks. I'll check it out.

Not that bad! No constant endearments, not even the dreaded "darling" every other paragraph! I never once felt like throwing the book across the room! :-)
I just finished Sprinkle with MurderButtercream Bump OffDeath by the DozenRed Velvet RevengeGoing, Going, Ganache I just couldn't put it down. I can't wait for the next one. I ate 4 cupcakes since starting this series several days ago :)
I finished
. It was ok, not great. I liked the author's writing but there was nothing original about the whole story.
Zoe wrote: "I finished

Don't know that I'll continue with this series. Too flat.

Good to know Melodie! I have a hold on this but the series must be more popular because they are all checked out right now.
