Linda, this one sounds good! I like this authors books. Its on my tbr list. =)

Look forward to reading the next one in the series. The characters and the village are great.

I was so upset about the Mel situation I had to come onto this thread to chat!

Yes, the Mel thing is just SO unnecessary!

+1

Someone told me I would enjoy it, but not as much as Brat Farrar and they were right. The author's development of her main character, Lucy, was Great, though, so often very amusing. this is a book for lovers of the older type cozy, British scenario. Tey's books tend to follow a different pattern sometimes, and in this one the actual body doesn't turn up until almost the end.

I recently finished "A Deadly Cliche". I understand what you said about Oliva, but I feel she is moving towards being a more personable character. I like to read the little bits about the books the book club members are sharing. Nice touch for a book club mystery.

I've been hesitant on this one because I don't much care for her other series. Maybe I'll take a look at it again.

Me too Melodie - I'll wait to see what you think

Finished The Long Stitch Good Night by Amanda Lee. Now to find book five of the series, Thread on Arrival, before book six comes out. :-\

Okay! I was ordering some books from Amazon that are on EW's summer must read list, so I ordered BURIED IN A BOG, too!

Way to take one for the team!! lol :D

Okay! I was ordering so..."
Bwahahaha! Yay Melodie!

I just love her!

I LOVE the chocolate shortbread recipe she has in there. Yum!

I did enjoy it but...come out find out that it is #3 in a series. I do plan to go back and read #1 & 2, but , I can tell you there will be a #4 because it says so and sort of leaves you hanging. Not to the point that I have to go find a copy immediately, but I will eventually! After I find and read # 1 & 2!
I have said this before but isn't it true- So many books, so little time!
