. Sometimes I like her books, and sometimes they are just OK. This one, was a just OK.I also finished listening to
which I did enjoy.

. I really enjoyed it, as I have the previous books in this series. Looking forward to the next one."Absolutely love this series.. each one seems to get better! I'm waiting on the current one now..Killer Crust:)
Just finished
and loved it..no doubt that I would this really is one of my favorite series!! Love triangle and all
Just read Lowcountry Boil by Susan M. Boyer - excellent debut mystery. Complex plot, well-developed characters, plenty of twists. Highly recommend it.
Rebecca wrote: "Just finished

Hannah isn't the person she used to be, and the characters seems stilted and out of touch with the 21st century anymore.
I finished
, a delightful read! Ellery Adams is a truly gifted author and with each book Olivia is turning from "ice queen" into a caring soul discovering the joys of friendship and love.
Melodie wrote: "❂ Jennifer wrote: "Finished Bowled Over. Meh, it was just ok."I've got this one coming up, too. I liked the first one."
Melodie, if I remember correctly, you liked the first one better than I did, so you probably won't find this one as tedious as I did.
I finished Murder Spins a Tale
which was OK but not great. 2½ stars. I figured out who did it & why about 2/3 through and so should have the protagonist.
Kari wrote: "I just finished Skirting the Grave
I enjoy this series and it looks like the triangle is settled"Good to hear the triangle is settled as that one is next for me in that series. Might push me into getting it sooner.
I just finished a couple cozies.Fun read with lots of dogs and a interesting family feud over a brooch.
The characters were almost too-over-the-top-zany but lots of action, crazy family and a few mysteries - plus it takes place in North Dakota if you are doing any US state challenges
Finished
and really liked it. Is there such a thing as a peaceful murder mystery? If there is, then these books are it!
I liked Assaulted Pretzel Melodie and Melissa I just hope the protagonist stops acting so silly about men in the next one. Seems like she may from the ending.
Heidi (trust me) wrote: "I liked Assaulted Pretzel Melodie and Melissa I just hope the protagonist stops acting so silly about men in the next one. Seems like she may from the ending."I think she will. Benjamin just really tugged at my heartstrings in this one.

He was very sweet.
Have just finished Aunt Dimity Beats the Devil. Another great read in this series. Think I'll read book seven now, before moving on to something else.

I'm actually holding out hope for Benjamin - for some reason I like him better. But I'm with Heidi - I want the protag to stop "mooning about" (Heidi's perfect word choice) - also, maybe show a bit of spine.
❂ Jennifer wrote: "Melodie wrote: "Heidi (trust me) wrote: "I liked Assaulted Pretzel Melodie and Melissa I just hope the protagonist stops acting so silly about men in the next one. I just finished reading
and really liked it! I'm not a knitter, but after reading all those descriptions of colorful yarns I'm thinking about visiting the cute little yarn shop in my little downtown! Intelligent female protagonist that packs a punch - I can't wait for the next book in this series!
Biblophile wrote: "Just finished
. Rather slow moving and Lee's "tangled tongue" is getting old."Being over Lee's "tangled tongue" is why I quit the series. It was cute for a book or 2, but SERIOUSLY??
Karen M wrote: "I finished Clouds of Witness which was just so good! Dorothy L. was such a wonderful author."*smiles* I love Lord Peter ;)
Karen M wrote: "I finished Clouds of Witness which was just so good! Dorothy L. was such a wonderful author."once again, add me to the list of Dorothy Sayer's Lord Peter fans! Karen, if you haven't read them yet,
there are several more wonderful mysteries featuring Lord Peter - also a large set of short stories.
Finished Lucky Stiff last night. I love this series and this book was good but geez! I think the author went on a hate fest towards her poor protagonist, Mattie. I hope the next one is more, um, calm.
I just finished A Study in Scarlet - not Doyle's best but it was fun to 'witness' the first impressions Watson has of Holmes :)
❂ Jennifer wrote: "Finished Lucky Stiff last night. I love this series and this book was good but geez! I think the author went on a hate fest towards her poor protagonist, Mattie. I hope the next one is more, um,..."Jennifer we are book twins lately! I just finished that one and liked it but I agree poor Mattie!
Finished Abby Cooper, Psychic Eye, I read most of the Ghost Hunter Mystery series by the same author and I enjoyed that and I've been meaning to give the Psychic Eye mysteries a try for a while. I'm glad I finally picked up this book.
Just finished
. I just started
and haven't gotten far enough to see what Jennifer and Heidi are talking about.
I just finished
and it was a pretty good first mystery in this new series. I'm looking forward the next one.
Biblophile wrote: "Just finished

I enjoyed this one a lot too and I'm looking forward to the next book.
Just finished (as in not more than half an hour ago) Aunt Dimity: Detective by nancy Atherton (book 7). Interesting outcome to this one...
Finished Every Trick in the Book yesterday. Then started and finished Glazed Murder today. I'm so glad I started reading cozy mysteries, I can't get enough of them! Tried to convince my husband to let me take a SECOND (in a week) trip to B&N tonight so I can buy more, hopefully he'll say yes!
Danie wrote: "Finished Every Trick in the Book yesterday. Then started and finished Glazed Murder today. I'm so glad I started reading cozy mysteries, I can't get enough of them! Wish to report I just finish a couple more of the C Beaton mysteries --- "Death of an Addict" and "Death of a Dustman". These are cozies, arent they? I mean, it's set in a small town in Scotland, and everyone is always having tea. Very humorous in a wry way, with a hapless constable trying to get along in a modern world. Ultimately finds his intuition about people was right the first time.
BTW I have about 4 of the Beaton novels listed for free on the book swap site, paperbackswap dot com. Just so you know.
