Jammies Catdoz, I maintain (and have written stories maintaining) that socks have lives right here in our dimension when we're not watching.

It's the day after I've gardened a lot and I can feel it in my leg, butt, and hip muscles.

That is so cool to hear! They don't have fireflies here in Oregon. I get to see them when I visit my family in Tennessee, though.

message 262: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11837 comments Beaverton is nice, but has changed a lot in the last 30 years.

Holy cow I'm getting old.

message 263: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Oh he's old, alright. But not as old as I am.

message 264: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Young at heart. In Texas or otherwise.

message 265: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11837 comments I'm old enough. My daughter is the same age as J9.

Me too, I love that!

Oh wait, you mean people. Not actual apples.

message 267: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) It's the bad eggs that really get to me.

I like it when my arm smells good and I can sniff it. It smells so good!

message 271: by [deleted user] (new)

I like it when I can go in to work late and see my kids off to the bus stop, crank a cuppa joe, and try to figure out an eight-letter word for "Cunegonde's creator."

janine | 7709 comments evie wrote: "janine wrote: "Phil wrote: "I'm old enough. My daughter is the same age as J9."

message 278: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Heated corn bag?

message 279: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24778 comments Mod
"Corn Bags are fabric bags, filled with corn. They can be microwaved and used in place of heating pads, or they can be frozen and used in place of ice packs."

message 280: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Oh.

message 281: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I genuinely appreciate the offer.

message 282: by evie (new)

evie (ecie) | 4437 comments My gran filled a long sock with salt, tied a knot in the end and heated it in the oven. That's what I was told .

evie (ecie) | 4437 comments Zardoz is in the Tardis wrote: "I'm spoiled with these corn bags. I know you can do it with rice and salt but I am too lazy to make them and will eBay my bags to be sent to me. I have four in various sizes. I love them."

I love the long ones that do a couple of major aches in one hit.
I like to lay on the heat pack and have my hand on the ice pack.

Gwyneth Paltrow dies in the first 20 minutes of a movie.

message 292: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

If she can wrap it up within 45 seconds, in the first 12 minutes of a movie, fine.

message 297: by Aliyah (new)

Aliyah | 369 comments When someone thinks I'm still at high school, shows that I'm aging like Dorian Gray.

message 298: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11837 comments Better than aging like Benjamin Button, eh?

message 299: by Aliyah (new)

Aliyah | 369 comments yeah, would suck to age backwards. Imagine being a 6 year old undergrad student. Or a 12 year old CEO.
