years ago I read a book about a girl and her sibling that were abducted by indians along with others in her town, the indians made them walk for months to the village, the girl couldn't wait to get back to her father, some of the kids where sold to others and the pastor from her town, came to the village and scolded her for being naked, she went into anothr village down the river to find her brother and was found by her indian father and taken back, when her father came to the village to find them, she hid because she didnt want to go back, any suggestions, thanks

funny enough, I just found it while adding books I have read, it is called the ranson of mercy carter, which is by caroline B cooney, one of my favorite authors.
