You are just as bad as the rest of us Ian, despite protestations. Just lean back and chill - oh, Echoes, too late.

message 303: by Ian (new)

Ian (pepecan) Still Echoing, but will be going for some Echo and the Bunnymen next and then perhaps some White Rabbits after that. Cassoulet de lapin for tea tonight?? Those brownies that are compulsory when listening to Echoes are jolly good.

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Well, I'm going to lower the tone - Handel's Water Music. I walked down the aisle to one of the Bourees so it's special to me. I love 'diddly' music that I can diddle along with. I hope I expressed that meaningfully? I love a good sing when I'm cooking dinner.

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments June Tabor - Ashore

Got it while we were home. First time I've listened to it. She has an amazing voice.

Her rendition of Waltzing Matilda is magic. Always makes me weepy.

Here's the album link

message 334: by Michael (new)

Michael Wallace I've been listening to some old Pentangle live on youtube. I'm hoping to do an audio version of my fantasy novel later this fall and would love to find something like this in the public domain or with a creative commons license.

House Carpenter, by Pentangle

message 335: by Patti (baconater) (new)

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Guess what Dave just put on? Yep, Pentangle. I like the sitar, but the singer. I don't care for her voice.

Amazing how much of Dave's music has sitar in it...

Arrived at the office and started listening to Music Bank by Alice in Chains.
