'Sisters of the Moon' from the 1979 Fleetwood Mac album 'Tusk'. Stevie Nicks at her magical, poetic best and brilliant guitar playing from Lindsey Buckingham. Gorgeous! I'm playing it every day at the moment.

so we're in different postcodes then to judge by our gang colours.
En guarde as they say in French :-)
Tonight I've mostly been listening to...Actually, I needed some classical music so I could, well nevermind eh, I just needed some classical stuff.
So I got me some Bach, and some Vivaldi, and the soundtrack for The Mission by Ennio Morricone.
Brilliant stuff, all of it.
And then I listened (so did the entire neighbourhood) to some Muse, and then I topped the evening off with No More Tears by Ozzy.
Ah, I feel quite refreshed now!

That's quite a mix, Andrew.
Thanks to the complete lack of control that I have over my car's sound system, my hour long commute to work today was accompanied by just two songs: Amarok by Mike Oldfield, and Diane Young by Vampire weekend (the latter was enjoyed so much by the car it decided to play it three times).

I like them. I'd love to see the show and hear them in context though.

Is it still going? I thought it cost so much money that it got cut short. The same thing happened to The Lord of the Rings musical (although that wasn't very good, tbh).
If you're into your musical theatre (and aren't easily offended) I strongly recommend you have a listen to the Book of Mormon soundtrack. Really catchy tunes, and it made me laugh so hard something popped (it really hurt).
I REALLY want to see The Book of Mormon. I keep seeing adverts for it every time I go to London. I don't think the Spider-Man musical is still going. I was hoping they'd bring it over here like they did with the Batman one but the Spider-Man one was just plagued with problems.

I wish I could quote some of the lyrics on here, but I think it'd get me banned.
Patti (Ogre for Hire) wrote: "I doubt a banning would take place. At least give us links to the lyrics!"
Even though I'm not a fan of musicals I keep hearing great things about 'The Book of Mormon'. I think I'm just going to have to go and see it although I won't be able to until late August.

the music publishers would be down on you like a ton of bricks with demands for payment...

You are just out of control!
My afternoon commute was made infinitely more bearable by the sublime "Impressions of America" by renowned film composer and all-round swell-guy Patrick Doyle.

Who's the guy next to Mr Baker? He looks like the wrong-un from The Fall (the bbc series, not Mark E Smith et al).
Bowie.Lots n lots of Bowie.
I defy anyone to sit still while listening to Bowie.
I'm sure the dancing I was just doing on my balcony was thoroughly appreciated by the people over the road.
I had a problem yesterday when my iPod played several Culture Club and Phil Collins songs while I was in the lab. I wanted to sing along but couldn't :( The worst one was 'In The Air Tonight' when I had to resist to temptation to air drum!!
Ha Claire!Bunch of people here have taken to plugging into their iPods on the bus on the way to school.
Is hilarious when there's ten or twelve people belting out different songs at 7:30 in the morning.
Not.
