"Tag your bench"OK, got that. I will try that line out on the landlord of the Pheasant in a minute. He will probably wonder if it is safe to serve me.
I can see I am going to have to seperate you two.GL, go and sit next to the zomby looking pupil at the front and Patti you go to the other end of the room and sit with the boy who listens to odd music.
I'm still engrossed with Slash. And have been for about two months. And so I decided to try and learn a riff from a song of his, Anastasia. Here's the Youtube link; listen to the entire song (6 mins), or just the bit I'm learning from 34sec to 61sec.
If you like guitar solos, you'll love this.

Was going to finish my book tonight, but mtv dance are playing the top 40 old skool tunes,so the books gone out the window.Only problem is hubby's in bed so i can't turn it up.
My neighbour spent most of the day playing the piano. Can usually not hear a sound from that flat so the piano must be REALLY loud in there.
Thankfully whoever is playing is very, very talented.

Listening to a new christmas cd and this came on http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=GB&am... absolutely wonderful.
Actually I ended up listening to The Undertones "Hypnotised" album. But the best news of all (in my little world that is) that I managed to download my fave Cop Shoot Cop track from the band's website for free. it only existed on vinyl (a track from the 90s) but they themselves have digitised it and made it available. previously I'd never been able to download it, but new browser and hey presto. Now snuggling in my itunes library. Happy dance.
Hi Marc, I must ashamedly admit that I only know two songs by The Undertones: Teenage Kicks and Here Comes the Summer :S I'm going to add the Hypnotised album to my 'to listen to' list as I am always looking for music recommendations.Jenny :)

After the Undertones, I've been listening to Au Pairs "Playing With a Different Sex" from 1981. The last decent album of a musically depressing decade I feel... (stands back and waits for barrage to ensue)
Gingerlily (or Cyberlily..) wrote: "Oh I love that song 'My Perfect Cousin'. I just started singing it!"true story this. Just finished my A-levels, completely knackered, too tired even to party. I didn't go to a family do to greet new arrival, a cousin. I got such earache for it, I wore my Undertones "My Perfect Cousin" pin badge for months as a silent protest!
Teenage Kicks, John Peel's favourite. Was it him that called the Undertones "the Bash Street Kids of pop"?
Rosemary wrote: "Teenage Kicks, John Peel's favourite. Was it him that called the Undertones "the Bash Street Kids of pop"?"ha I'm not sure, but yes he loved that song! There's a movie about the Northern irish music scene of that time, centring around the Undertones. I need to check it out. I saw them live once, 4 encores. They were amazing.
I've been listening to a compilation of The Who this afternoon. God, their hooks really catch. Baba O'Reilly rules.
Just listening to some new music from an old friend. I hadn't been in touch for 20 years at least, but connected on facebook an hour ago. I am really loving this ...http://dharmyorg.wordpress.com/the-so...

I wonder how many of those 500 I'd disagree with?
