Wow, he's grown old! Must remember not to look in the mirror, cos he's about the same age as me.
Loved the original, love this version. Thanks for posting it.
The legs are the best bit! I once had a Tai Chi instructor who said "When your legs give up, that's when you're in trouble". At the time I thought he was just talking about heavy drinking.
Some voices make you want to sing. Some voices make you want to dance,
Others make you laugh or cry.
Adele makes me want to do all these things at once....
Last song I listened to on my way into work this morning was Playing God by Paramore. Love them. New album being worked on at the mo. No pressure but hurry up, hurry up, hurry up! "You don't deserve a point of view if the only thing you see is you"

I loved tears for fears :) My sister and I used to listen to the greatest hits CD over and over again when we were younger...
All this tears for fears talk, I just went through Songs from the Big Chair - love Mothers' Talk and Working Hour.
Oh so do I - Working Hour has the most gorgeous intro ever!A friend of mine just put this up on youtube - I love it, a guitar instrumental with a celtic flavour..

Hmmm, Tony Banks- six pieces for orchestra http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tony-Banks-Si...
Who would have thought it .... On the other hand he was the geeky bit of genesis.
How times change. Sounds good but not sure I'd pick it over some of the more mainstream classics.Still stuck on Amy Winehouse - Me and Mr Jones.
My absolute musicial heroine is Stevie Nicks who, since the seventies, has been the voice of my inner being! 'Sara' from the Fleetwood Mac 'Tusk' album of 1979 is my all time favourite Stevie song, ... drowning in the sea of love ... where everyone would love to drown ... but when you build your house ... then won't you call me home'. There are so many of her other songs that I obsess about too and I've named all my books after the titles of her songs. She is the high priestess. The poet in my heart.Apart from Stevie, I also love INXS, Crowded House, Supertramp, The Eagles, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Billy Joel, Elton John, ABBA, the Beatles, U2, the Rolling Stones, Roxy Music, the Pretenders. Amongst more contemporary artists I think Ed Sheeran is fantastic but I'm lukewarm about Adele.
Anybody else share my particular tastes? David MenonDavid Menon
Out of those you list I would definitely share your taste in:The Eagles
Tom Petty
The Beatles
The Rolling Stones
I also love Jackson Browne's music - if you like The Eagles he may appeal!
Listening to Talk Talk Laughing Stock, because not in a very good mood :(David, like your tastes, but where's the Floyd, or Amy Winehouse??

Hi Stuart!
'Somebody's Baby' by Jackson Browne is an absolute classic!

Hi Chris!
Floyd never really floated my boat as it were, but some of what Amy Winehouse produced did.
Symphonie Fantastique by Hector Berlioz. Dragged out the old LP with the New York Philharmonic conducted by Dimitri Mitrolpoulos and cranked it. Wild ride.
