What was the last... `Tune` that you played ?
Watched the film Black Swan last night - very very good. Now I have to root around for my copy of Swan Lake on CD, can't get the music out of my head!
Good try, Simon. Strangely, I know exactly the bit you're talking about. However, your typing somehow doesn't wuite carry with it the drama of a full orchestra... Sorry.
Listening to Hell Freezes Over, The Eagles reunion live album. Named after a member of the band's comment when asked if the Eagles would reform.
Listening to the 'new' Amy Winehouse album, 'Lioness'. I love it, even the re-mixes and different versions of songs on the other albums. It underlines the fact that a good song will shine through whatever, I think.
LOVE Tom Waits - I don't suppose he wrote "Rosie" for me really though! Have you heard his new album Bad As Me?
I have all his stuff Rosemary and a painting of him on my wall!! Bad as Me is fantastic - covers all his styles - the man is a genius!!

I do worry about your hobbies Simon.
I found it quite good as it learns from your music collection. You can use it at home to do that if you don't have any at work.

Err - Tom WaitS we were talking about? Don't know this Tom Waite chap, looks a bit modern!
My pleasure Jud. It's one of my favourite resources as it automatically scrobbles every song I play and therefore improves it's selections. I found Aphex Twin thanks to Last.fm.

There is a fine line between cuddling and holding someone down so they can't get away.
Dave has just come in and put Elkie Brookes on. Don't Cry Out Loud.I'm about to. Or perhaps I'll just stick sharpened pencils in my ears.
He has so many different styles. If you tell me what type of stuff you like, I'll try and match you to the Tom Waits song closest to it!
I'm listening to a band called Maiden United. Who play acoustic Iron Maiden songs. Very mellow, compared to Bruce's vocals. lol
If you like mellow versions of rock classics, I just love Rodrigo Y Gabriella's 'Stairway to Heaven. The sounds they can produce with just two guitars is phenominal. Sample what they can do on youtube or their website if you've not heard it yet.
I'd love to see them live too, but last time I checked it was £30 a ticket. Good value, I suppose, but £60 for two of us is just a little rich. I can turn the stereo up, turn the lights off and pretend I'm in a concert and save a lot of money...
Ah.... puss in boots.Just getting my self acquainted with Rodrigo Y Gabriela now.
Long live Napster.
Funny, thought I had posted a few minutes ago. I wonder what thread is puzzled by my random interruption.
Loving it by the way. I have my cowboy hat on and my lower half is pretending I have rhythm.
I thought it was impossible to listen to without moving. Sometimes I find myself stamping round the kitchen like some dyspraxic flamenco dancer. Glad I'm not the only one affected... Ole!
Downloading albums from Youtube to catch up with some of my old tapes that stretched and died. The Doors / The Doors - can't beat them! 'And We're on our way', and 'Back Door Man' are favourites. They don't write lyrics like that anymore!
Thanks Stuart....just had to go dig out I Recall a Gypsy Woman (and by dig out I mean I was too lazy to look through CD's and youtubed it instead).;-)
Well it looks like I did load some classical music onto this iPod. Listening to a Russian Festival, currently Borodin's Polovtsian Dances from 'Prince Igor'.
