no room on the iPod and, as I mentioned before, it's in aspic as, as soon as I plug it into the computer, the place in my playlist is lost. Bloody Apple.

Just finished listening to Beethoven's Emperor Piano Concerto.Chop Suey - System of a Down.
Video if anyone is interested. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSvFpB...
Couldn't find one for Ludwig, odd that.
Listening to Genesis.Carpet Crwalers has just ended and I think I might have to turn up the volume on Firth of Fith.....

Now I'm going to have to dig out 'Selling England..'
Having listened to 'Aqualung' last night, it will be a good follow on
Genesis and Jethro Tull - I thought I was the only one! Takes me back a bit... some of the Genesis stuff I find a tad difficult to listen to nowadays but Tull seem to be timeless. Love the 'Live Bursting Out' album. Sadly at the moment I am in the minority at home and my kids have custody of the radio - top 40. Argh!
I played aqualung after that post Ian. To start with I thought I had made a terrible mistake then my mind slipped effortlessly back forty years and I enjoyed it.
Chris, you need to assert yourself. Every man has a right to access to music providing equipment. If they deny you access to the radio you are entitled to treat yourself to :£1000 of streaming gear.
Simon,Love the advice and the idea. However, at the risk of sounding lame, any ideas where the £1,000 can be found? I'll cheack my sock drawer again but I'm pretty sure I emptied it before Christmas...
Or put the family on an austerity programme. I bet they leave lights on and use more than four sheets of paper in the loo.
Or write a book Chris. My favourite Genesis period was immediately after Peter Gabriel left. A Trick of the Tail and Wind and Wuthering were tremendous. I liked before and after, but that small windows was magical.
Mario Caribe, Samba for Em'bra. The Fife Jazz festival misprinted their brochure and put our phone number in instead of a local hotel who was hosting Mario Caribe. We got a £50 cheque and two tickets for the concert for our trouble. That may pay for the Martin Taylor tickets as well maybe.

I'm the opposite: Loved Foxtrot, Selling England and Nursery Crime more than the two you mention, then I think it picked up again for Duke and (bits of) Abacab. Guess I'm just a Peter Gabriel fan at heart.
Now though I guess the early stuff is harder ot listen to.
On the subject of money, Simon, Patti and Geoff: I've tried my hardest to bring up the kids 'dumb' to save on college fees (isn't really working), wrote a book (not yet on the bestseller list - when is that going to happen?). Now the austerity programme... hmmm... toilet paper and turning lights off, eh? I guess if you combine the two it could get a bit messy though..
Yikes, knowing kids, they'd never clean it up themselves.I'm listening to Tubular Bells III this afternoon. Spent too much time this morning chewing the fat with everyone here to listen to any music.
Relaxing to the peaceful, orchestral musings of AC/DC. Their live album If You Want Blood, You Got It.
Patti (Still totally bananas) wrote: "Yeah that always makes me drift off..."And me, it drowns out the sound of SAP consultants counting their loose change too....
Ahhh SAP. Must have the best marketing consultants in the world, 'cos nobidy I've ever spoken too has had a good word to say about it.Remainds me of a quote: Talking to an SAP consultant is like masturbation. If you do it for long enough you start to belive it's real life.
Listening to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers performing Echo this morning. Listening to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers performing Echo this morning.

A SAP consultant explained to me yesterday that the designers had put together our SAP solution in an ivory tower. He seemed to be quite pleased about it until an hour later when I repeated it back to him then he changed his mind
Can't stop playing songs from the 'Concert for George' (Harrison) on youtube as I'm doing my mails. "My Sweet Lord" sung by Billy Preston at the moment. Hallelulah!
