What was the last... `Tune` that you played ?

Single handedly keeping the standard up Ignite :)
Not sure you will be able to hear a Piano Cencerto over Pattis racket though!
Especially not over yelling in Igbo! Best I could manage was a swear word or two in Welsh - I learnt that from my first year room-mate at university who used to regale me with such when I woke her with a cold wet flannel for 9.00 a.m. lectures!
Listened to Hatfield and the North on my way in to work. Listening to Live Groove by Projekct Two. They are a King Crimson experimental group, for anyone that is interested.
Dave says he's got Hatfield and the North here on vinyl! He's not heard of the other one but I bet he searches for them tonight.

I was listening to Guitars by Mike Oldfield coming into work this morning. I'm listening to The Moody Blues Live now.
Mike Oldfield - theres a name to conjure with from the past. Was tubular bells really good or did we all like it because it made stereo sound like magic?
LOL Patti. I have to admit that I still get a lot of pleasure from listening to Mike Oldfield, especially his guitar work.
Maureen (Mews) wrote: "Simon & Garfunkel - The Sound of Silence"Oh, I'll need to dig that out when I get home.
Ah, Simon & Garfunkel.... All gone to look for America. One of those tunes that reminds me of being young..... First serious girlfriend called 'Cathy' ahhh, fond memories of bell bottoms and kipper ties....
I had a sports jacket with really wide lapels. I loved that jacket. One day my Mum made it disappear because she was sick of seeing it. I think my sister put her up to it but I never have got to the bottom of the conspiracy *memo to self - must quiz sister this weekend *
When I was at University it became quite the thing to make oneself (the women that is) a long, psychedelic ball-gown and one's feller a matching kipper tie with the offcuts!

I do my best!
Maureen (Mews) wrote: "Bread - Make it With You & Guitar Man"You're very mellow today. Next stop Glen Campbell?

No, Elton John - Rocket Man
But up next might be Wichita Lineman since you mentioned Glen Campbell ;-)
Or The Eagles since Simon just put me in the mood.

I can never think about Rocket Man in the same way any more. I watched an interview between Elton john and Graham Norton. They made a phone call to a fan of EJ's in the US who suspends himself in a contraption whilst playing Rocket Man and "enjoying" himself.
The clip is here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7omUkV... if you are interested.

Maureen (Mews) wrote: "Eagles - The Last Resort"That has got to be the best Eagles song, such clever lyrics and a great tune.
I've always been a fan of Don Henley. One of my favourites of his that was thrown in as a bonus on Building the Perfect Beast was a song called A Month of Sundays, about small farms in America. He is at his best when he has a story to tell, and boy does he tell some great stories. Here is a video of him performing it live http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4Ko3S... . Apologies for the overloaded sound.

Agreed Geoff...probably my favourite Eagles song...although I do have a soft spot for Don Henley signing "Boys of Summer" just when I am in a silly mood....which seems to be tonight :(
"Some rich man came and raped the land, nobody caught him. Put up a bunch of ugly boxes, and Jesus, people bought them".....my favourite quote from that song.
Ah, I love A Perfect Circle and I spun one of my favorites just this morning.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qruScw...
