Read Freaksshort but punchy with a terrific climax.
Started Milking the Rhino: Dangerously Funny Lists as I fancied something funny,I have smiled a few times but no belly busting giggles as yet and I am 50% in!

back to some Jim Butcher..."
Oh, I just loved American Gods. So clever.

Finished now. Nothing to add.

For something completely different, off to start Falling to Pieces: A Quilt Shop Murder

You know Ignite, I didn't think it was as well written as some of his other stuff. Neverwhere was much, much better IMO

Brilliant!

Folks, you gotta read them both. Brilliant, the both of them. I've read quite a lot of Rosen's stuff and have enjoyed it all.
It was my first David book. Has definitely whetted my appetite for more of his stuff.

I finished Agatha Raisin and the Murderous Marriage yesterday and started reading Coffee, Tea, the Gypsy & Me today. It's light undemanding reading which is just right at the mo as I am crocheting almost full time at the mo and it's hard to concentrate on much else.

Your welcome - and I will read your longer books.

Added to my wish list - despite not being a fan of shorts.

Then started The Children of the Fog while on the plane, another enjoyable read, just disappointed that it finished at 59%. Will try her other books though
And finally managed to start Cruel Instinct by Mel Comley - again, enjoying it, and definitely going to read the rest of the series.
Looks like that is it for my Goodreads month - disappointed that there are some authors I didn't get to read, but have read more than other months and have read some fantastic books. Next month will be a slow month as I am reading paperbacks!!

Just started The Gestalt Man as recommended by Kath. 15% and very good so far.

I read the first of these when it was free - must try the others.

I'm 40% through The Kult by Shaun, not had time to read much this week because of the hot water situation. But I'm enjoying it so far, very blood-thirsty though. :-)

A Bloody Good Secret Enjoyed. again stopped dead at 93%"
92% or 93% is good. I have read ones that are only 60% or 70% - & one that was only 45%. Needless to say those authors are ones that are not at the top of my TBR list.
One of the latest book that I have read was

Oh no! :-(

now starting a month of paperbacks with one I bought a year ago, Burial by Neil Cross.

Enjoyed it so much I went straight to her next book The Lives of Ghosts Didn't enjoy this one quite so much but the author writes beautifully,so descriptive you can just visualize the scenes in the plot. Books are set in the Peak District.

Now I'm reading

So you mean I shouldn't promote it as a romance novel then ;)

You will have to let me know how you get on with

Was still good though, a bit like The Red Tent in the sense it makes you think about the women in well known bible stories which usually focus on the men.

Just started Philip Whiteland's Jambalaya

Janet, I'm 20% through Darlin' Druid excellent writing and pacy romance so far. :-)
