Emma (emzibah) | 4125 comments Ok, cool. (view spoiler) Are you happy for me to keep uploading them here? I don't want to give anything away?

Oh, that is the first time I have used the spoiler thingy, will be interesting to see if I have done it right :-)

Not a problem, Emma. I'm interested in the views of everyone here and it has the happy side effect of generating interest in the book ;-)

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Looks like something off Starsky and Hutch! Love it!

message 806: by Emma (new)

Emma (emzibah) | 4125 comments The story is set in the deep south of an unknown country! I had no clues for how a pimp would look in this unspecified place so went for what I know (ie. the cliche!!). I was about worried about skin colour! Is he too dark?

message 807: by Patti (baconater) (new)

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Dunno. You'd have to ask Phil I think.

Hmmm. Tricky! Possibly a tad lighter? What does everyone else think?

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments I think he should be driving a pink cadillac. :)

Yes boss! :-) Will make him a little lighter. Is funny as he is lighter in my laptop! Will sort that out. Am working on the maid at the moment :-)

message 811: by Emma (new)

Emma (emzibah) | 4125 comments Have added a lighter pimp to the collection here
http://www.goodreads.com/photo/group/...

Thanks for these, Emma. I like the pimp! With regard to the maid, she needs to have the appearance of one who has had an electric shock - so hair sticking out from her head and wild-eyed. Is that do-able?

message 813: by Emma (new)

Emma (emzibah) | 4125 comments Yep, I am sure that will be do-able!! I am struggling with her face at the moment so I think this may make that job easier too!!

Philip (sarah) Willis | 4630 comments HeHe I am just loving watch this all develop.Thank you Philip and Emma.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Yep - its addictive!

message 818: by Patti (baconater) (new)

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Nope. I still don't like it.

I should try harder though. Our authors deserve it.

Thank you so much, GL. Very much appreciated and thanks for taking the time and trouble to do this. It couldn't have come at a better time as my sales died a horrible death yesterday!

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Well let's hope that revives them a bit.

I've only just noticed that you've been kind enough to put the reviews on the U.S. Amazon site as well (I'm not the quickest off the mark, as you may have noticed). What can I say, other than that I'm well chuffed!

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Glad to hear it. :)

Eagerly awaiting your next magnum opus!

I wouldn't be too sure about that, GL. It's probably going to be Jambalaya ;-)

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments I know - thats what I am eagerly awaiting!

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments I thought they were buttons. My pure mind....

Philip Whiteland | 3394 comments Gingerlily (or Cyberlily..) wrote: "I know - thats what I am eagerly awaiting!"

More of a Magnum 'Opeless than a Magnum Opus I suspect ;-)

Nipples indeed! Those of us who are pure in thought and deed did not consider that as a possibility.

I like it, but I think you could afford to be even more daring with the hair (perhaps sticking right out all over) and a little more wild-eyed perhaps?

message 834: by Patti (baconater) (new)

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments I could send Emma a photo of myself for inspiration...
