here i sit, not reading. just waiting to see what series to start when our category is listed. here i am afraid that i'll get into something & have to jump to something else! stress...LOL!
Hi Team! :D Looks like we've decided on a name and a captain. Yay! LOL Amy! I've read a couple of books these past two weeks which I know would've fit into one of the categories. But, for me, 1/2 the fun of the game is the hunt for a book. So, I don't plan it out. I pick whatever I'm in the mood for on the shelf each week.
How's everyone planning on doing their free space read this round? Right away or when you have time? There's no rush to read it right away, since it'll take at least 5 weeks for someone to get BINGO. But, I like to get mine out of the way, so I know from then on I will only have to get one book read during the week.
If anyone is unsure about how the FS choosing works, just let me know. There's a post about it in the BSB folder too.

Yep! BOM, any book from bookshelf or listed on the new release thread. Double check the rules though if ya don't mind (I'm on my phone) but I know at least one of those options require the book be listed "during the duration of the game" vs any one. Can't remember which one.
A BOM or new release are the options that require it to be listed any month while the game is in play. A book on the group's bookshelf can be on any shelf.I will read my free space book in the first week or two of the game.
I also like to wait and hunt for a book when the shelf is called. It makes the game even more fun!
Thanks for posting the FS info, Amanda. Couldn't remember. I agree. The hunt is part of the fun for me too.
I'm planning on reading both BOM for August. So I'll most likely use one of them for the free-space.

well... Borders is going out of business here, so I am off to find more books with my groaning 8 y/o... I have Jennifer Ashley's 2 pride biiks, so I was thinking to do them first... get that series complete. Then, I do hve 2 new dragon series complete. soooo... I am just thinking about all the books I have to plot outchoices.
I just can't wait for the shelf announcement. :) I have been reading way too many books at once so I am trying to finish them up. I need to finish these two by Sunday:

Kate Daniels is such a great series. I am 80% through Clash and 35% through Feed, so I should be pretty much through by the time the new shelf comes through. :) Here's hoping!I have heard Anna and the French Kiss is a really sweet book.
Pretty pathetic! I bought 2 bags of books at Borders 40% off... walking out and stalked by paper guy taking my picture infront of the store because I had the most coming out! How do I hide THAT from my husband? Can't, so I had to hear about it for a while. Oh well! Final sale, guess I'm stuck! LOL!!

I tell you what! This is the only place where people know what you mean by having to hide book purchases! I would be ROFLMAO at all of you if the same thing happened to you!
That's one of my favorite things about NOT being married or in a relationship. If my DD and her hubby don't like me buying and bringing in books, they can move out!
My hubby complains, but he is the one who brings home big bookshelves out of the blue. LOL
Yeah, mine grumbles sometimes, but there's no real intensity to it. He was the book obsessed one for many years, so he can't really talk. LOL!
That is nice to hold over him! My kindle is an excellent way to hide my addiction.

I have the very best boyfriend in the world.He actually buys me books.
And yeah, Kindles are awesome (: That way you can buy even more books, because you don't see them stacking up all around you.

I am reading
It has everything good! Historical Romance, demons & Druids... It sort of reminds me of KMM... Well, the first book did anyway! Its one of my Borders books!
I really cannot decide on what to read for this shelf. Soooo many pages and nothing making me WOOHOO over it. I will choose after I finish my current read.Here's what I'm considering, in case anyone has any thoughts one way or another:
I'm leaning towards Die for Me or Veil of Midnight.

I started reading PM because it was sitting there, and I had to hunt for my Donna grant book. I can say I may be up all night reading it. I want that guy! WOW! It's a twist on shifters for sure! Since not many have picked the other book, I figure I have time to do my FS first... Hope your weekend is great too!
