Welcom, Angela. You'll love it here.

Hi Angela. Glad you found us and decided to join. I too can spend hours staring at all the great books that want to come home with me.

Hi Angela & welcome to the group!
Angela, its one of my all time favorite classics. I havent seen the movie, but really want to since I liked the book so much!

That makes me wonder? Has anyone ever had that happen to them? Reading what is a pretty good book & suddenly you have a book in your hands that you have wanted to read for a long time. Then you find yourself not wanting to finish what youre reading currnetly? Or maybe its just a reading quirk of mine...

However I do know that if I dont pick The Ballad of Frankie Silver back up & start reading Im never going to get anywhere. I havent picked it up in 2 days just b/c I want to be reading something else. lol I know Im not getting anywhere fast by reading nothing though! Oh, the pressure! lol

Paper Moon-Joe David Brown (been dying to read)
The Hotel New Hampshire-John Irving
The World According To Garp-John Irving
To kill A Mockingbird-Harper Lee
Deliverance-James Dickey
The Cracker Factory-Joyce Rebeta Burditt
Fancy Strut- Lee Smith
Sinister Gardens-Willo Davis Roberts
Peyton Place-Grace Metalious
Return To Peyton Place-Grace Metalious
The Bridges Of Madison County-Robert James Waller
Cry Me A River-T.R. Pearson
I just couldnt resist! They were all so cheap! I am for sure still reading One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest after I finish my current book (if I ever finish), but after that I HAVE NO IDEA!!! To many choices!!! No more books for me untill I get through at least half of what I purchased today. Im really afraid to go through all my books & see exactly how many books I need to read.
I just wanted to introduce myself & say that Im looking forward to being a part of the group.
