Good Job!! :D

Jessica - so sorry to hear about your Nan. If you ever need someone else to temporarily update, just shout!

I'm excited about that one! Love Cassie Ryan - and this is the start of a new series.

@Cindy - Thanks again enabler, I'll see if I can find any Cassie Ryan on the sales shelves too. Not familiar with her and it sounds similar to Richelle Mead's series, which I like.

I'll let you know how much I love

I'm happy to hear it, Jessica.

May not be able to post a review until tomorrow, but will definitely be starting

Looks like September is gonna be lots of erotica for me. Some PnR, several BDSM. I can hardly wait....

I enjoyed it. I finished it quickly and definitely plan to pick up more in the series. It was kinda cheesy at times (their names are ridiculous!), but fairly action packed. (view spoiler) There is some lucky coincidences that occur that are eye-rolling (ex - "He's grievously wounded? Let me try to use the magic I just learned I had in the past week to heal him. Oh look it worked!") But whatever, it was an enjoyable book.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

Review: This was Aeron keeper of Wrath's story. His angel was sent to observe the Lords then kill Aeron because he brought a demon, Legion from hell. This was one of my least favorite stories, because of how the triangle was set up was just stupid. The whole Legion story angle just ruined this one for me. The side stories & characters Gideon, Gilly, William were fun and I did like the Olivia character. It redeemed itself in the end and several story threads that have been woven thru the series were revealed further. There was some closure for some of the fallen Lords in the end but the HEA seemed a little rushed.
Hints of Paris' book was revealed and excited most about that upcoming issue. Not really looking forward to the next installment which is DARKEST LIE, since everything poor Gideon sez is the opposite. Did pick up the anthology that has DARKEST ANGEL, Lysander and Bianka's story since I felt like I was missing series information.

Review:
This is the ongoing saga of Aislinn, Seth, and Keenan. Niall, Donia, Bananach and a few others play their parts, but the main focus of this book is how Aislinn and Keenan are working to strengthen the Summer Court, and how Seth fits in Aislinn's world.
It had been at least a year since I read the first 2 books in this series, and I had a hard time getting back into the story and the world. Once I became more familiar with things, the story flowed a lot better.
Lots of angst from Aislinn - I don't want to hurt Seth, I love Seth, I'm putting Seth in danger.....
Lots of angst from Seth - I'm just a weak mortal, I'll die and Ash will be with Keenan, does Ash really want to be with me or Keenan......
Lots of angst from Keenan - Aislinn is my Queen, my court needs me to be with her, I love Donia but I can't have her.....
It all got to be a bit much. I did enjoy the book, especially the ending. I will be reading the next book in the series, cuz I already have it! Gonna try to get to it soon, so I don't forget so much about Fairie and the different courts.

I've already started my Demon book. I'm so glad that succubi are considered to be demons.....I'm off to grab a cold drink and a fan. These are needed items so I can keep my cool while I am reading!

Seducing the Succubus by Cassie Ryan

Jezebeth. What a wonderful name for a succubus! This is her story. Nice, sweet, fairly steamy read. Wonderful HEA..... Warning! There is some F/F interaction, so if that isn't your cup of tea, too bad! You will be missing out on a fabulous book. Not a major part of the storyline, so you COULD skim those parts - but, you would be missing out on another side of a major character in this book and the ones to follow.
The second book in the series is already out, so I'll be working the budget to grab hold of it soon! There should be 2 more after these. Will the sisters be able to keep Armegeddon at bay? Let's all hope so......

Just finished The Darkest Secret by Gena Showalter 09/02***
The story was just OK, I liked Amun and Haidee until the last 10 chapters, they were waaay too sweet and corny for my taste.
And the ending was too complicated and sort of left me thinking "ooooh how convenient!!!", like it was just wrapped up to get a HEA in 5 mins or less.

LOL Lili - at this point I don't think it really matters much what order you read the books in.....just keep plugging! Magic Bleeds was a pretty fast read for me.

I really like this series. I enjoy it more than Vincent's Pride series. I think this book was my favorite so far, (view spoiler) . Also, Kaylee has a bit of a "hero-complex" (Nash's words, not mine) that can get annoying at times throughout the series. She's a teenager; it's not her responsibility to save everyone. Frankly she needs to learn to let the grown-ups in on stuff and I think in this book she's finally starting to learn that. Two thumbs up for that! I hope it continues into the next books. The only problem was that it ended rather abruptly. It wasn't really a cliffhanger, but it did end in such a way that I'm practically desperate for the next book.
I'm all caught up! And just in time for the next shelf announcement. It's a freakin' miracle.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

Well - since it doesn't look like any of the books I have to read in the next few days are on this shelf, let me look for something quick and easy! My reading plate is pretty full between now and the 15th.....but I'll definitely get my book (whatever it ends up being) read before the next category comes up. Even if I have to mail another book without reading it first.....and I HATE doing that!
SIGH.......Amazon is my friend.....and I have coupons for HPB. Who knows, I might get lucky and find another copy of a book I need to mail!

Welcome back Crystal. Hope you had a good time over the weekend.

Review: I really enjoyed this Kitty book, the pack of three were together again traveling to Dodge City and San Francisco. Unfortunately most of their time in San Fran was spent in the tunnels under Chinatown fighting all kinds of craziness. I like the direction this series has taken and seems like we have many more books coming before they ever conquer the "big bad" that is out there with the allies that she is collecting along the way.
