Just finished an advance copy of Words Get in the Way by Nan Rossiter and then in 2 days read Woman in Black by Susan Hill
Finished reading 'A Passion For Him, by Sylvia Day' about a week ago.
I have read a book my dad's friend wrote called Candidates' Party - William Mwendwa
Yesterday I started and today I finished listening to Killer in The Woods: A Psychological Thriller - R. Barri Flowers
Finished Footprints on the Beach - Aleksandar Žiljak, was a nice relaxing story of love from 2 different time zones.
Last night I finished Fifty Shades of Grey - E.L. James. It was an intense books. It had me crying, laughing and even cringing at the events of Mr Grey and Ms Steele.
Just finished The Fallen #1-#3!!!!Full of action and enjoyed them immensely.
Just finished the following:
- Funny and had me talking outloud to the main character.
- Made me cry and made me want to solve the question of Who Done It!
- This was the most unique book I've read in quite some time. Started out slow but progressed along quite well.
- My heart went out to the main character of this book who is the single mother of a preteen! After living for years with a family secret, it ALL comes to a head.
Oh I adored it. Took me a while as I've had my son in hospital for an operation lol.

Oh he is fine thanks. 16 on Tuesday and he had cancer 2 yrs ago. All well and in remission.

Finished Fifty Shades of Garbage - Allie Beck. In my opinion, was funny when you saw some parts like Fifty Shades of Grey but, near the end was boring.

Just finished:Impossible by Nancy Werlin in the wee hrs. of the a.m. on Independence Day.
Over the past couple of days I have read and finished Mid Life Crisis - William Mwendwa and Three's Company - William Mwendwa.
Just finished Heartbreak Creek by Kaki Warner5-stars.......unique plot and great pace. Never a dull moment. Both historical & romantic. Every woman should read a novel by Warner. It'd been a little over a year since I read anything by her and I'm never disappointed. A MUST read!
This evening I finished Taken - Charlotte Abel and have to wait til September to read the finale and find out what happens next lol.
I just finished reading the Girls of Murder City The Girls of Murder City: Fame, Lust, and the Beautiful Killers who Inspired Chicago. I really enjoyed reading about the journalist, Maurine Watkins and her role in reporting the female murders, Belva Gaertner and Buelah Annan. Watkins was inspired by these murderers and the Chicago in the 1920's to write the play "Chicago". I would suggest this if anyone wanted a good crime read.
Just finished "Simply Carnal" by Kate Pearce and it was HOTT!
Just completed Healing Stones by Nancy Rue & Stephen Arterburn. The story was soooo not what I expected, but a pleasure to read. Built on the theme of forgiveness, Demi examines why she made the decision to have an adulterous relationship with a colleague. My favorite character was the therapist, Doctor Sullivan Crisp. His approach with clients was so funny, unique yet authentic. Although the story development was steady, it lulled for my around chapter 26. It could've been merely the content, in that the main character experienced a great deal of depression at time. Overall, an interesting read with several unexpected characters and sub-plots.[*** 3-stars]
