SOLVED. Widow in British Columbia who makes seaweed baskets [s]

What I remember is that the book takes place in British Columbia, I think the name of the dead husband is Peter, the widow has 2 children, she is not dealing with the death of her husband very well.

She makes baskets made of seaweed and reeds as therapy...her whole house is filled with them. Later on in the book she goes back to a cabin in the woods where her husband, her and the children used to go when they were younger...

While shes at this cabin, she wants to renovate it, and she ends up falling in love with the handyman who comes to restore the cabin...

I'm guessing this is fiction? Any idea when it was published? If not, when did you read it?
