I love how this is all big and dramatic and everyone is playing their own part but I'm about to introduce three characters. They're all going to be so confused as to why everyone is freaking out. XD

Me: Ruby had a stuffed deer named Dotty. Deer were her favorite animals. Felix is going to develop an obsession in making little origami deer.

Me: Harper asks Felix if there's anything Ruby particularly liked or enjoyed doing, and Felix says she really loved deer (and she did.) I suggested that perhaps he becomes a little obsessed with making them, out of paper or clay or something, and it becomes an obsession. He'll explain it away as honoring her memory, but really, it's an extreme form of what I consider to be worship-grieving.
