Not to derail the thread or anything, but caught this and thought it was cool:

Game of Thrones Food Trucks

If any of you are in New York City, go grab yourself a lemon cake :P

Thanks for posting, Ala!

I did, and I was pleased. It was pretty good. Having already seen most of the trailers and the "making of" featurette, I knew what to expected and was not that surprised. So far, however, I like how they've adapted the book. What they've added or changed seems to make sense for the different medium.

I quite enjoyed Viserys. He was creepy, and the actor (Harry Lloyd) totally sold it (his smile freaks me out). The same goes for Emilia Clarke as Daenerys. I can't wait to see her steel emerge as the season progresses. We didn't get to see too much of Ser Jorah this episode, but I suspect he will make a good companion as Daenerys develops.

Mark Addy portrayed the weary Robert Baratheon well, and I liked Peter Dinklage as Tyrion. I'm not sure how I feel about Sean Bean yet … I'm not sure why. He's just not Eddard Stark for me yet, but I'll keep an open mind.

They chose a great scene for the ending of this episode as well (Bran's big moment, for those of you who've read the books). As I saw him climbing, I knew that was where they were going to leave us, but Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) really sold it. For those of us who have read the books, it was a nice and memorable place to break. For those who haven't, it was still memorable and should go a long way to establishing just how cruel the Lannister twins are.

Apparently the ratings were good enough that HBO has already renewed the show. So if you don't like it, send them hate mail now before it's too late for them to change their minds. :P (Or, you know, not.)

Jackie (thelastwolf) The moderators should close this topic so as to avoid confusion.

It's just Brad, really. He'll get to it when he gets the chance.

Or if you pm him with something about the group, he usually takes care of it pretty quickly.
