Amen sister!

message 52: by Amy (new)

Amy I love the challenges, don't get me wrong, but I always have a hard time getting the books to fit the challenges. So I'm always coming in at the end of the list, which isn't always a good feeling either. LOL.

Kellee Moye (kelleemoye) Amy, what books are you looking at? I'd love to help (planning is actually my favorite part about challenges) and I'm sure Angela and Kristen would too :)

message 54: by Amy (new)

Amy Not actually planning a list. I never stick to it so I've stopped trying. LOL.

Kellee Moye (kelleemoye) Question: A student's mom wrote a middle grade book and gave be a proof to read, edit and review for her- can that be used for the challenge or does it have to be a published book?

message 56: by Kristen (new)

Kristen Harvey | 1046 comments It would have to be a book listed on goodreads. So I'd count ARCs but not manuscripts.

Amy What is the start and end date for the challenge?

message 60: by Kristen (new)

Kristen Harvey | 1046 comments That's in the Tasks and Discussion post.. July 1 to September 30th. :)

message 61: by Amy (new)

Amy Is the scoring there too? Because somehow I missed that.

message 62: by Kristen (new)

Kristen Harvey | 1046 comments No there's a separate post that is sticked called Report Points here.

message 63: by Emily (new)

Emily I totally don't see how many points each book is worth? But someone already began the challenge so I must have just skimmed over it. I see bonus points but that's it.

If the task is 1.15 the that means it is in section 1 and is worth 15 points.

message 65: by Emily (new)

Emily ooooo ok thankyou

message 66: by Amy (new)

Amy Can I use Starcrossed for the task with the road signs? I was thinking of railroad crossing signs but I"m not sure if that's too far out there.

message 67: by Amy (new)

Amy I'm almost finished with my next book for the challenge, Clockwork Angel. Can I use the historical fiction for the genre since it's set in the 1800's?

message 68: by Kristen (new)

Kristen Harvey | 1046 comments Most definitely. :)

message 69: by Karis (new)

Karis Jacobstein (yalitwit) | 419 comments Amy wrote: "Can I use Starcrossed for the task with the road signs? I was thinking of railroad crossing signs but I"m not sure if that's too far out there."

I think that's pushing it. Kristen? I'm using Don't Stop Now by Julie Halpern.

message 70: by Emily (new)

Emily There's a cross walk

message 71: by Amy (new)

Amy I think it's already been counted. But I didn't think of cross walk.

message 72: by Kristen (new)

Kristen Harvey | 1046 comments I think part of the word would be okay. Like cross for crossing or cross walk.
