My kids watched some fucking smurf marathon all day yesterday. I don't know how they found it or why that crap is even allowed to be on the television but it's the worst kid's show of all time. I hated those fuckers when they first came out and I hate them now. I wish I would see one in real life so I could step on it and LAUGH!

I appreciate that my DirecTV has parental controls but they don't work correctly. I want to be able to block shows by keyword:
Oprah
Smurf
Oswald
French

I haven't had to watch that yet but I shall put it on my keyword list anyway. Just to be safe.

I loved The Smurfs! When I was scared, I'd close my eyes and plug my ears and hum the Smurfs song. I had Smurfette slippers.

Of course, lots of things that I loved as a kid suck as an adult. Namely, The Berenstain Bears.

I got tired of my daughter constantly watching annoying cartoons, so my husband and I started getting our childhood favorites from the library for her to watch : Tale Spin, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, Duck Tales, TMNT, etc.
And yes, they are as awesome as I remember :)
