Oh....and here are some lovely flowers to celebrate your accomplishment. Snapdragons, of course!

Magic Slays just arrived in the mail today ..hanging on to it in the hope that it will fit the next category!

I ordered three other books at the same time as Magic Slays and the other three all appeared on different days before Magic Slays did - go figure lol
Hope it gets to you soon!

Oh snap Sandra, mine is about a week away and it's killing me.

Yay! Kate & Curran re-read! Most excellent! I'm all excited and I have even read the recent book yet. LOL!

And mark mine as done Viv :)

ETA: Could everyone please add date finished reading, because of different time zones/posting some time after finished, it helps me from making guesses, thanks :)
Yay for the change to two chips next week. It'll keep the game interesting!

This might be the turning point in the series for me (most people say books 3 or 4 although my reasoning is totally different, lol), but this was the first one where I didn't work myself into a stressful state over Harry getting himself almost killed every other chapter. Progress! Pretty formulaic books - Harry gets case, case ends up dragging him into the world of supernatural baddies trying to destroy the world, he gets himself almost killed repeatedly, then saves the world, but it's all really interesting still. Lots of fun, Harry's humor/sarcasm is entertaining, and it's so action-packed, you can never find a good stopping point.

"Ahh loved it, Magic Slays rocks with all fan girl s
qee'ness. Just completely ignored my family for hours to read it straight through. If you have have been waiting - don't! I give it five stars! 12th June"

Rating: FIVE STARS!
Review: I could not put this book down. It's the story of Harry Quirk (whose name fits him very well) who has just been kicked out of his home by his wife, Luz. He struggles to get on his feet and keep some semblance of family. His daughter is a freegan and his son becomes member of a religious cult. Christensen does a beautiful job of keeping the story moving through Harry's voice and twists. LOVED IT!
