If you could meet any character in the Cassie Palmer series who would it be??
I wasn't surprised myself to find that I liked another character of Karen Chance's Cassie books. But its hard to resist guys like Mircea Basarab,John Pritkin,Louise Cesare. Even Marco, Caleb and Jonas are great characters.

oooh it is, only not fake - we're genuinely this disturbed and scary :Pdear god, i loved those emails. especially the ones between Jonas and Pritkin - those where truly epic.

i love the scene were jonas is teaching cassie and he pulls chalk out of no-were, and cassie is like "whats that?" and jonas is like "whats what?" etc...

that was indeed epic as well. i love Jonas's art - it's probably about the same standard as my own XD you know what, i just love Jonas period. he's such an amazing character. honestly, how does Karen Chance do it? so many of her characters are just beyond awesome :O
i know its insane!i love the cassandra series the most but her other books/short storys are also really good... i cant think of another author who has so many good books and characters. she super creative!

Other than the 'Guys(Mircea,Pritkin,Louise Cesare)' of the book I like Cassie and Dory too!Because I like heroines who face their fears!

i have to say cassie is prob my fave then marco. i like the dory series just not as much, most of my fave characters are in the cassandra series.
i love the scene were marco has to give mouth to mouth to cassie and she throws up and he's swearing at her and everything for almost dying - haha classic!

Marco. I love Marco, because he is just protecting Cassie and is not trying to use her for anything.
No, I do not beleive Pritkin fits this description. I still recall his actions in TtD when he tried to kill her and in EtN where he used Cassie to get the Codex. I won't forget or forgive that, even if he does appear to have had a change of personality in HtM.
you do have a point enjee but i still feel like mircea lies more... suppose we'll just have to wait and see who comes out good in the end (if anyone does)

I agree...Mircea lies more than Pritkin.
also when pritkin was a prick he didnt know cassie and wasnt friends with her then... which is why i think he's nicer to her now, there friends AWWWWWWW. lolmircea has always known cassie but still dosnt tell her much. also im not impressed with him leaving her at tony's when he could of moved her when she was little.
Caleb is definitely one of my new favourites... you've got to love lines like "You start putting the moves on what is basically a corpse, and then talking when there's nobody there, and then some weird-ass shit starts going down with sparkly light and heat and John comes back to life and jumps your goddamn bones-"
Also Marco makes me laugh on a regular basis. I really liked that 'teddy bear with fangs' description :D

lol.yea he dosnt have a huge seen in skin deep but you get to see a little more of him which is awesome :)
ooh, i haven't read it yet (so thank you very much for using the spoiler tags :D)- i really do need to, but i'm too cheap to buy the whole book just for that anthology, and it's not in any of the librarys near me :'( anyone have any suggestions of how else i could get hold of the lea shorts?

I looked at the site listed. The sentences are not proper English. This looks like bait.

Think about it...why would a site give out free new-release ebooks?
ummm... *looks at website* yeah, i'm pretty sure that's a pirate website. no way would that many authors put all their work up there for free. just because the files may not have viruses hardly means it's not illegal.ah well, i'll just have to see if i can convince my library to buy the anthologies. my friend just got a job there, so maybe it could work...

The bottom line is that if we want our favorite authors to produce, we must in turn support them, which at the very least means we pay them for their effort...which means we BUY THEIR BOOKS.
i'v bought all the cassie plamer books! YAY for Karen Chance. :Dnow i just need to buy the dory books ;)

Thanks! I didn't know about this! Furthermore I swear not to download any ebooks from there! And I do buy books because I love books rather than ebooks. Its just that there are so many books not available and sometimes I cannot order them from sites too. But no more illegal downloading from now on!!

lol no i HAVE read both cassie and dory books - i own the cassandra palmer series and now im planning on buying the dory series, so when the next books come out i can just re-read the whole series in one go, that way i'll be all re-fresh for the new books and know whats going on - Brilliant plan or what?? :P
