Cheryl (cherylllr) Kimberly, I'd much rather join you than go to Vegas! But Michigan is sounding drool-worthy, too. (Which is a statement I never thought I'd make, considering what I previously knew about Michigan was Eminem and Detroit.)

Cheryl (cherylllr) yeah, probably if we knew how amazing the rest of the state is you'd be overrun with tourists

Cheryl (cherylllr) Kimberly, given that we had *snow* yesterday (and rain, and thunder), I'm honestly wishing we had Star Trek transporters so I could visit you!

Snoozie Suzie (snooziesuzie) | 937 comments Well yesterday and today I have spent at the beach (we have a beach hut). It was windy but warm, and spent it with family and friends. And tomorrow small and I are being christened.

Currently I am waiting for big to cook on the BBQ and small is at his dads so I have a night off.

Roz | 4524 comments Not doing much this weekend. We just started demolition on my kitchen this week. It's been a long time coming. So I have boxes all over the living room and don't remember where I put anything. We bought a mini fridge yesterday so we can keep milk and yogurt cold and also a plug in kettle for coffee. But I don't remember where I put the mugs or instant coffee. I know it's here somewhere.
Week before last we went to Austin Texas to visit with my brand new first grandson. That was fun. So now I'm home and realized I haven't put in the vegetable garden yet. I guess I could do that this week end.
Frankly, with my husband working most of the holiday and the house in upheaval, I'm more inclined to just read.....maybe put in the veggie garden, too. But mostly read.

Cheryl (cherylllr) Busy you!

I know how you feel. A few years ago we packed up our house and moved across town to my mother-in-laws house. I still have stuff in boxes in the attic.
Where are you moving?

You can listen to audiobooks while you garden...:-)"

I've never done audiobooks. I'll have to look into that.

jaxnsmom | 8341 comments I'm being a complete slug this weekend. The dog's and I are just laying around reading (me) and napping (them). The temperature's in the 90's and I don't do heat. But I'd suffer through it to go to a Dog Bowl. Hope you're having fun Judy!

message 113: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (cherylllr) Yay for extreme fun, Judy!

We went mini-golfing and casual geo-caching today. It's warming up again.

I'm moving around 150 miles away from my current residence in India. Got a job there.

Janice (jamasc) | 59850 comments I had a blast at my quilt retreat. I laughed so hard that my sides hurt and I couldn't laugh any more. I even managed to get some sewing done. Now I'm paying for it. I'm so tired!

jaxnsmom | 8341 comments I came across this and wondered if any of our Michigan members are near any of these parks and if they've ever participated in the murder mysteries.
