oh no that would be awful although she still does have to fill up 2 more books so I bet there will be tons of twists and turns and more drama before everything works out in the end I'm gonna need a huge tissue box for the rest of this series!

In addition to him being "cured", I think it will be up to Lena to find a cure for the cure. And I think her mother (yes, I'm sure she will find her) will help.

I honestly couldn't sleep and I even wanted to read the book all over again already. (Not that I didn't already read the last three pages more than I can count.) It's such a relief knowing that there are two more books after this. I can now sleep peacefully.

Same here I thought it was stand alone but even though there will be two more books I still don't have too much faith in a happy ending especially after I died balling crying after reading Before I Fall!!! Lauren Oliver really likes to lay on the depressing! Amazing books but come on a happy ending still leaves a great impact!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah that's what i think would happen on the next 2 books.. Lauren Oliver seems to be feeding on our depression :D all we can do now is to hope for the best. I don't know, but even though it end up that way, I'm dying to read the next books!

I just finished Delirium and as I made sure it was the last page, I was thinking, WHAT THE HELL. But then I found out, like everyone else, it's a trilogy. PHEW. Definitely going to read the next one. What do you guys think about the "falling in love again"? Do you think a love triangle will spoil everything?

I think it might add some needed tension, because Alex and Lena's relationship is a little too perfect. (This is just the weird psychologist's view)

is there going to be a second one? i loved delirium but didn't know she was planning on #2

Yes, Pandemonium is the second book. You can look at the series under Lauren Oliver's page here on Goodreads.

Yeah, most Dystopian novels do have strong male characters, just look at Fade in Enclave, Four in Divergent, Peeta and Gale in the Hunger Games ect...

Divergent was amazing! Lots of action, strong characters and a dis-functional government system- the total package

OMG AGREED! I LOVED IT SO MUCH!!!
There's no way they can kill Alex! He's gonna survive straight through the trilogy.

I agree!! I have this feeling that she's going to meet some other guy in the Wilds and will fall in love with him and then all of a sudden Alex will appear and it will be this super crazy-making triangle. UGH

No love triangle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(i hope)

so did I I'm like WHAT?? and then very sad:(

i did exactly the same thing. it was so sad. then my mate told me there was gonna be another one and everything was gonna be fine.
