Hi, my name is _______, and I'm a/an ________ survivor.

Those are NOT CATS. They are scary Broadway dancers.

But, that song came out in the early 70s. ;)"
Yeah I also survived the 70s.

I feel your pain Pat- I’m a Catholic school survivor too. :D

*shudders at the memory*"
I survived Rum Tum Tugger nibbling on my ear while he sang at the Cats performance I went to.
Hi, my name is Clark and I'm a disco survivor and proud to say I've never worn a silk shirt or tight polyester trousers, danced the hustle, owned a copy of "Saturday Night Fever," or thought to myself, "You go, girl" while listening to Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive."
Get down, boogie oogie oogie...
Get down, boogie oogie oogie...
Ha! It doesn't matter what you say now Clark, the image I have of you will be in a silk shirt and tight polyester pants.

Memo to myself: Add gold chains, platform shoes, helmet hair, and really bad cologne to the list.

How about the 80s, did you survive them?

Ya say you wanna evolution, well ya know...
Clark, I bet you had all of those things back in the day.

With or without soda?
Hi I'm Gail and I'm a survivor
Haha oooops. I forgot to put in the full stop. ::sigh::
I'm just surviving, period.

Nuh-uh!

My dad used to randomly shout at me as I walked through the living room, "You have to watch this!" and make me sit down and watch the movie from the middle. This was in the days pre-VCR and pre-cable (really!), where having a movie on TV was a rare and wondrous thing. Though we did pay HBO to put a giant three-story antenna on our roof so we could get HBO and nothing else. The movies on the dad "You have to watch this!" list ranged from The Jerk (okay, I love it to this day) and Blazing Saddles (somehow I always managed to escape) to The Ten Commandments (which was always on during Easter week). Survived them all. And another Dad favorite, UHF, as well.
I have also survived Smurfs, legwarmers, pegged jeans, puffy sleeves, floral prints, The Neverending Story, junior high, high school, college at a large and soulless state school, grad school, writing a dissertation, Oregon winters 2003-2010, huge swaths of unemployment, dating a painter, dating an actor, my mother's death from lung cancer, and...oh my god, what the hell is going on with the legwarmers, pegged jeans, puffy sleeves, and floral prints? NEVER AGAIN!

what about a "members only" jacket or parachute pants, Clark?
I survived the 80's, just barely ;)

I remember them both, but never owned either. I think my dad had a "Members Only" jacket, albeit a conservative one.
I did, however, own a couple of horizontally-striped t-shirts.
