MadProfessah (madprofesssah) | 76 comments I’m about 2/3 through RAGE OF DRAGONS by Evan Winter. A bit too heavy on the descriptions of hand-to-hand combat but still very compelling...

I'm a bit uneven in whether I post.

I will say that the series is a bit uneven too, and 7 was not one of the better ones.

Good reasoning. I chuckle over the comment about being uneven in posting as I think you are one of our most frequent posters.

Be thankful we don't have to wear cravats (spelling my be wrong). If you got one wrong you had to discard it and start over with a new one. Russell Thorndyke used the trouble with tying one to indicate how bad a morning one of his characters was having.

I had to look up what a “cravat” was. My “How to tie a tie” app looks like an ascots knot. Then that led to differences between “ ascots vs cravats”.

I think my brain is going into a meltdown. I refuse to become a fashionista 😳 I am going to wear sweats from now to eternity.

I want a time machine now more than ever.

C. John Kerry (cjkerry) | 404 comments The company I used to work for required male employees who worked out front (either on the floor or as a cashier) to wear a tie. It didn't specify what type of tie though so I showed up for work in a bowtie one day. No one could argue with me on the point. I did get the reputation as one who would bend the rules, though not break them.
