      Just the one?
Also, we going to theme it up in here or just go with random nominations?

I think themes might help narrow the scope each month, especially in such a large umbrella category like SciFi.
Plus we won't end up with the same books each month during nominations that never quite win.

I think we're pretty much agreed that we're going to have one random pick and a themed pick for each month. Which is an excellent idea, Nicki!

I'll go for anything Asimov or Clarke. I'm focusing on those two for now. I've also been wanting to read Metro 2033.

We at SFA ask that when you make a suggestion, you keep it limited to the first book of any series or standalone novels only.
Starting in July, there will be 2 monthly reads per month. They will therefore be listed in two categories.
1. Random. Suggest any random science fiction book you want to read. The subgenre doesn't matter, so long as it's sci fi.
2. Themed. Suggest any sci fi book that falls within the chosen theme.
