The difference of awesomeness between Vampire Academy and Twilight is like the difference between a spoon and a fork. VAMPIRE ACADEMY IS SO FREAKIN' AWESOME!! !

I love both books! but I tend to lean toward Vampire Academy simply because it's not as popular. I think so many great vampire books are overshadowed by poeple's negative opinions about Twilight
Vampire acadamy all the way!!!!!It kicks twilights but on so many levels.Like it has more action, the love story line was awesome, and the books didnt get worse as the went on. they got better and had the same amount of action in all books. i used to be a die hard twilight fan but after i read vampire acadamy, twilight meant nothing to me. someone told me that they were working on making a movie with the authour. If they screw it up i will blow up hollywood and the director of the movie.
Vampire Academy for me. i like twilight too but VA is the BEST.
Vampire Academy all the way! Twilight focused too much on the romance part of the story. Good thing I had finished reading the Twilight Saga before I started on Vampire Academy. I would have been disappointed in it if I read VA first. And oh, I'd even choose Adrian over Edward anytime.

Vampire Academy all the way!! ! Rose wasn't just a lifeless and emotionless shell of a girl, she actually had passion and drive. And plus she was pretty freaking awesome! Dmitri wasn't all stalkerish and sparkly, he was an actual man that fought for his people and risked his life. Their love wasn't all creepy stalkerish either. They both put in effort for their relationship, and they proved that they should be together. (Granted I like Adrian TONS better, but still). Anyway, Vampire Academy was TONS better than Twilight in my opinion.

U gotta be kiding Twilight!!!!!! In Twilight you Got Jacob who is Hot, where in vampire academy you have Dimitrie, which is ehhhh...okay...
I think vampire academy is millions better than twilight. The main character Rose is actually a likeable person and if strong willed and funny. Bella's more of a quite boring person and is quite dull.

Not even close to a competition Vampire Academy is leaps and bounds better then Twilight!

It depends really. I thought that they both were a really good series of books. I love Twilight for the romance, and I love VA for the action it had. Yes VA had romance in it too which made it a great all around series. I honestly could not choose which I like best.

Hmmm...I love them all, but I really loved Shadow Kiss, and Last Sacrifice.

bella just thinks too much. And she's always curling up in a ball and crying and whatevertho sometimes i want to yell at rose too, just when she doesn't get stuff.

Vampire Academy most definite!!!! I must disagree with Scarlet here. Rose is not cruel or slutty. Strong and opinionated, yes, absolutely. She is totally bad-ass. Love her and Dimitri!!!!
Never read twilight but I would always go with VA.

Vampire Academy HANDS DOWN!!I love the fact that theres a strong and independent female lead- not the wimpy, self-concious girls i see now in books like Bella.
