The Knife of Never Letting Go (Chaos Walking, #1) by Patrick Ness The Ask and the Answer (Chaos Walking, #2) by Patrick Ness Monsters of Men (Chaos Walking, #3) by Patrick Ness

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) | 827 comments This is another series that has a lot of excited fans. I read the first book and felt like I didn't really care until the couple of chapters. I do plan on reading the second book at some point because I hear that books 2 and 3 are a lot better than the first one, but nothing is making me want to read right away either...

Whitney (whitneychakara) | 1272 comments Ive made it to the 3rd part of the book and im still loving it. I guess its not for everyone some people have a hard time getting into a book thats written more as a character would talk instead of like an author "should" write. I've gotten past that and I am still enjoying the book. (view spoiler)

The free prequel The New World by Patrick Ness helps explain Viola more (while making you cry)

It's probably on amazon.com or bn.com, if it's still free.

Brianna (briannask) | 35 comments I just read the first book a little while ago. I found it by closing my eyes at the library (surprise! There's a discussion point here). I had a hard time getting into the story, and honestly, I just kept waiting for it to end. After a while, though, I finally was starting to like it, and then the author had to go and mess it up again with one of the characters later on(view spoiler). I had to walk away from the book for about a day before I could finish it. I thought the ending was a bit disappointing, because nothing was really resolved (view spoiler). I guess eventually I will pick up the sequel, but it's not high on my list right now. Although the prequel about Viola does sound interesting, and it's free, so why not?

Gwennie (blessedwannab) I thought the first book was good, but I wasn't blown away. I liked the second a bit more. But it wasn't until I finished the last book and it all came together that I felt the insame love I have for this trilogy. I think Patrick Ness is an amazing writer.
