i have wordpress and i get code that leads to "harry potter and the goblet of fire" - i almost died laughing when this showed up on my blog. i have wordpress, and a friend has blogger - she says that those badges won't work. has anyone else managed to get a wordpress badge onto their blog? thanks!
The widgets should work if you put them in Blogger's widget tool. They won't work if you just paste them into a text box on the sidebar of your blog, I don't think.Charles, are you sure the reviews aren't changing? I just looked at the widget and it seems to be working fine. The header text doesn't change unless you change it manually, but it appears that you did that.
Patrick, I used Blogger's "HTML/JavaScript" Gadget. I didn't see anything simply called a "widget tool."Once again, the title says Reviews for Jump First, but all the reviews are for Huckleberry Finn.
Could you look over the code above to see if there's something I could change to make it work? The only thing I see that I think could possibly be the key is: gr_reviews_widget_10980453
Perhaps it would work if there were a different number there, not 10980453?
10980453 is definitely the number for 'Jump First', if you type it into the URL directly http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/10...I haven't managed to get it working, either.
There you go. Thanks Rachel!Patrick, I daresay no one is going to put GR reviews of Huckleberry Finn on his or her web site. If GR were simply to monitor calls to the widget to see how often it replies by serving up those reviews, you could probably tell for yourselves that it's all Hucked up.

Instead, I only get reviews for Huckleberry Finn. You can see in the code that it is supposed to be for my book.
Also, the values I entered in the text boxes didn't get translated to the proper places. The code below should say min_length=4$num_reviews=100
