Msg 720 - I have added Out of Print to the Edition fieldAs Jessica indicates we do not delete out of prints. In addition, it is the most popular / shelved version that displays in searches etc just in case the author asks about that
Speaking of authors wanting to remove books. I came across one of mine earlier today that the author deleted cause she had a new edition out.I Was Not A Happy Camper!!!
I have recreated it, but the original cover has been lost and it will be hard to get it back as it is an old ebook, from a defunct publisher. I wasn't able to see it on the change log so I'm assuming it's gone.
She had even changed the original date published from 2006 to 2011.

Got it Sandra!I would of been mad as well, Did you PM the author about her changing the book or PM the PTB? Authors forget this is a book cataloging site first and foremost not an authors sale site.

No I haven't PMd her yet. I think I need to be perfectly calm when I do. I have many of her ebooks & I enjoy them.
I agree most authors don't think of GRs as a library but as a store where they can sell, sell, sell.

No idea what this book is supposed to be, and when I put the ISBN into Google the only search result I get is for that entry on Goodreads... which is extremely unusal.

Bunch of ASINs that need supers, the ISBN is the closest match. If there's no ISBN, the closest match is already the most popular. (How did people even find these copies? I've found them all because their authors had "author" somehwere in their name, they aren't weren't even under the main author profile! Yikes.)ASIN -->

I think the most popular edition in this combine is supposed to be the edition with the ISBN #0060871407, it has no ISBN number itself.

These were early no-title-no-isbn entries which got added to a few bookshelbes, The titles have now names and isbns, and are already entered otherwise - I can not edit ISBN for those editions since they already exist.
Ralph - Got 746 - do you know if a note was added in the Group to ask members not to add it - Maybe you could ask Lori to put a note somewhere.
I came across a serial adder today. I think at one point someone had a template for a message to send serial adders? I'm also a little wary of deleting these until she's notified, because it looks like she put some pretty lengthy reviews in the description field for some of these.
