One or my best friends was in the book store with me the last time I went and she told me the if she ever saw me with a book that had a cowboy on it she was cutting me loose. Well, after seeing these covers I honestly think she was looking at the wrong ones. Because some of those Rough Rider covers are ... ooh I have to stop and fan myself because those are delicious! LoL! :o)~

Wait till you read them....you going to go go from fanning yourself to a cold, and I mean COLD shower!LOL I had never really read anything like this before...I was so niave...The book store clerk suggested them... and I started the first and was WOW! Not expecting that...but I couldn't put them down! The rough rider series is really amazing;P

The titles are horrible, I had the first book before I got my Nook, and my daughter saw it laying around, (the are in the large paperbacks so it didn't fit in my book cover!) and was mortified! she was like..."MOM! what kind of crap are you reading?" and then I was mortified...and thought lord have mercy, if she only knew....;)

haha ... she will get there one day soon before you know it. I fear for when you have to have the talk. I mean I was all tongue tied when I 6 yr old god son asked me how babies get in their mommies' bellies. I had no words and his mother my best friend was laughing at me because of the look on my face and how I was going to attempt to answer his question. It was horrifying!

LOL! I hate talking about that stuff with her, we have had to have some of the talk, and dread highschool! My 16 year old cousin I help raise scares the crap out me. I know what I was doing at 16.....LOL;)

Hell ... I know what I was doing at (view spoiler)[13 and I had 2 boyfriends. One five houses up and they other five houses down. But once I figured out that the one down the street only wanted to get my panties off I hit the road. Still sometimes I wish I would have waited even when it came to the other one. But I really can't hold any regrets because I thought I loved him since we dated for 7 years. To this day he still tells me I was the love of his life. But apparently for me I failed to see that since he broke up with me because he was scared we were headed towards babies way to fast for him just for me to find out that the very next girl he hooked up with he got pregnant shortly after the started dating. Isn't that alway how it happens! Boys are dumb!!!!!!!! My daughter is 13....so I worry. She just asked me today if she could meet a group at the mall...and there would be boys!!!!! I just want to lock her in her room...for about 10 years!

Isn't that what all parents want to do? LoL! But I give you mad props for bracing it head on as a single mom. My mom was a single mom too and I know have hard it was for her even though she tried to be brave about everything too.

I will say i'm pretty lucky...I have a great kid:) This teenage stuff is about to drive me over an edge though!lol She is such a social butterfly (I soo wasn't when i was younger) so she has to be doing something all the time! I'm making her clean her room and read right now, just so she will leave me alone!lol
