I just finished Room and I'm still reading the Song of Fire and Ice series. I wanted to wait to read the 4th book A Feast for Crows until closer to the release of #5, but I'm not sure I'll be able to hold out. I think I'll start The Help next, though.

Finished The Other Boleyn Girlin speed time and loved it. I was so absorbed by it. Slowing down now with Agatha Christie's Secret Notebooks: Fifty Years of Mysteries in the Making - Includes Two Unpublished Poirot Storiesand an Italian crime story.
I LOVED The Other Boleyn Girl. That started me off on a rather lengthy Tudor England fiction kick. I've enjoyed most of Phillipa Gregory's books that I've read. I also really loved Innocent Traitor by Alison Weir.

I must be the slowest reader on Goodreads. I'm still reading The Forgotten Garden and am almost finished. I can't wait to see what happens or what the big mystery is (although I'm starting to sort of think I know what part of it might be). I think next up will be The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks
I have just started The Unbearable Lightness Of Being by Milan Kundera, really enjoying it so far :)

At the bottom of your "My Books" page is a drop-down menu labelled "sort". Just click on the down arrow to open it up. "Date Added" seems to be the default sorting method but you can change it. Mine seems to sort itself in different random ways every time I log on, though, so I don't know if you can change it to "By Author" permanently.
I'm reading The world beneath.
I'm reading "Uncommon Knowledge" Judy Lewis. It's her biography, she's the daughter of Clark Gable and Loretta Young. It's been really good so far.
I moved on to Rosemary and Rue today. So far it's off to an interesting start. I love that it takes place in S.F. I can't think of any other books I've read that take place here. I have to say I have one question mark... There are a lot of references to the risks the faeries feel of accidentally losing the glamour they give themselves to appear human, and the inevitable "burning" that would be the end of that tailspin. Personally I really don't think anyone would take much notice of a someone with pointy faerie ears and wierd eyes here. They'd just think they'd had some fetish surgery and were wearing contacts... just saying. Other than that I'm onboard so far.Cover Her Face was odd. I'm not sure where I am at the end. I kind of want to read the next one, but I'm also exasperated that this whole first book seems to move very leisurely, allows you to get to know the characters personalities quite well and then rushes unforseen connections at the last minutes.

I remember that the atmosphere created was so nice, the story really interesting (especially the different places and how linked). I loved the character of hannah and her father's job.... Even though I loved The Boleyn girl, The queen's fool was pure, less sensational....

"Never heard about this one, but added it! :-)
I just finished Wolves of the Calla. It was fantastic.Even though I didn't plan on it, I'm going to continue on the journey with Song of Susannah.

I'm reading One Second After which I'm really liking. Also Alice I Have Been which is really good so far and Getting Personal.
I am close to halfway through Skippy Dies and am generally enjoying it. I don't know about "best of 2010," but we'll see... I finished Room right before that and loved it.
Finished: Chew 1: Taster's Choice, Ex Machina, Vol. 4: March to War, DMZ Vol. 5: The Hidden War, Y: The Last Man Vol. 3: One Small Step and also a manga version of Macbeth Shakespeare's Macbeth: The Manga Edition. I am now reading
. It has been slow going to get into it, but i think I am getting interested now.
I just finished Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins. It was pretty good. I love reading books with my daughter. Now I'm reading When Will There Be Good News? by Kate Atkinson. I've loved the other two books with the same detective, so I'm pretty sure I'll like this one too.
I'm reading Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly and I'm just about to begin J.D. Salinger: A Life by Kenneth Slawenski
I'm reading THE THIRTY NINE STEPS by John Buchan. It should be a quick read and I wanted to finish it before the new Masterpiece Classic version airs on PBS in March.
I'm reading The Sherlockian by Graham Moore and Gardens of the Moon by Steven Erikson.Next week I'll start Progeny by R.T. Kaelin. After that I hope to pick up A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness.
I am reading
, Heidegger's Glasses, and listening to The Year of Pleasures. Beat the Reaper has its ups and downs. Heidegger's Glasses is pretty intriguing and The Year of Pleasures is quite good.
Currently reading
by Christopher Moore. So far, loving it even more than
and
. And I absolutely adored those!
Haven't posted for awhile been too busy with the house of night novels. I'm currently one chapter away from finishing Awakened which is the eighth (and last released) in the series. Now I have to wait till October or November for the next one.
Next i'll be onto The Spellmans Strike Again by Lisa Lutz which should be funny.
Detriech - I'm happy to hear that you liked Fool more than A Dirty Job, I haven't yet had a Chris Moore book thats been able to match it so i'll have to try Fool as my next one.

Love, love, love Gone with the Wind--book and movie! I think I'm going to reread GWTW this year. Enjoy!
I'm reading Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption by Laura Hillenbrand. Pretty amazing story of endurance in the most challenging circumstances. Writing is solid, as well.
I'm reading "The Story of Mankind" by Hendrik Von Loon. Its an amazing and quite interestingly written book chronicling from the dawn of humans to the then present events...
I'm currently reading Famous Pennsylvania Hauntings: Famous and Not so Famous Ghostly Encounters From the Keystone State by Lawrence J. Gavlak.
i finished Sarah's Key the other night, and i loved it. i picked up Blue Bloods for some quick, easy reading.
