I'm reading "My Sister's Keeper" Bill Benners. It was a freebie download for Kindle. It's a thriller and I'm really enjoying it so far.

I am reading a Jane Feather book, All the Queen's Players. It is really quite good. Enjoying the stories of Elizabeth and Mary Queen of Scots.......
I just read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson and completely loved it. I love it when a book pulls me in right from the first page, and the whole book is just a treat. Great book! I'm now starting the second in the trilogy, The Girl Who Played with Fire.
I started Girl with the Dragon Tattoo on my flight back from Florida and got like 75 pages in but just wasn't into it and it sat around on my coffee table and I ended up reading other books. I need to go back to it eventually though because i really want to read it, and enjoy it.
I'm in the middle of Lord Loss by Darren Shan and Personal Demons by Kelley Armstrong I'm really enjoying both of them ill be starting Darren Shan's next book Demon Thief and Kelley Armstrong's next book Living With The Dead after those

I also read the Pilot's Wife. Good book...just wondered how she had no idea. Just financially ...you would wonder where half of the money went
Tess wrote: "Is Darren Shan one of your favoite authors?"yes, I've read a good few of his books especially from The Saga Of Darren Shan they are very easily read Hence., why they're teenager books lol
Yas wrote: "Kristin wrote: "I started Girl with the Dragon Tattoo on my flight back from Florida and got like 75 pages in but just wasn't into it and it sat around on my coffee table and I ended up reading oth..."Before I read the book (or started reading) I saw a lot of people saying that it took awhile for the book to get going, which was why i am going to stick with it, but i just haven't been in the mood for it.. I really want to read some of my smaller/quicker books and get them off my shelves before I start this one, I have the second one also so i can just go right into that right afterwards.
Tess wrote: "I also read the Pilot's Wife. Good book...just wondered how she had no idea. Just financially ...you would wonder where half of the money went"I agree, but in the beginning she did say that they had two seperate accounts (or am i thinking of another book? lol i think it was this one though) and if you have two seperate accounts and he takes care of all of his money and if you aren't checking up on anything or having any financial problems then really there would be no reason to suspect..
When i was reading about a twist at the end I was thinking he was involved in some terrorist things or something like that, i never really saw this coming!
I'm in the middle of Nobody's Fool and really enjoying it . Already have seen the Paul Newman movie several times , soo Sully is definitely the handsome rogue . Grins!
Finished Ironcrown Moonand I went form confussed, very interested to dissapointed. Dissapointed by the last sentence: 'and she told him her choice'. and that was it.
i finished The Privileges by Jonathan Dee, and I have to admit i was disappointed a little. i thought the ending would be much better, based on the rest of the book, but it was so non-eventful and left so much open (to me, anyway) that it really disappointed me.
Currently reading Forecast by Shya Scanlon. Interesting look into the future where negative feelings generate electricity and people have their own weather....
I am reading Salting Roses. I am about 1/4th of the way through the book and I am still uncertain of what I think about this book... I am going to keep going and hope for the best!!
I am over half way thru Helen of Troy and so far I love this one. I forsee 5 stars in the near future.
Tess wrote: "I am reading Far fromt eh Madding Crowd, Only on page 75 but loving it"It's a great classic I had to read it for english in HS years ago but I really liked it.

I've been on a book binge and finished Pillars of Iron (all 900 plus pages)The Worst Noel-Hellish Holiday Tales, and Bone Garden by Tess Gerritsan.Pillars of Iron was good with attention keeping characters and alot of middle age history well woven in. Bone Garden was a mix of Jack the Ripper type tale and a reincarnation romance mystery. I liked it alot, but it has to be your kinda book. The Worst Noel was a funny collection of short stories, and although there was nothing deep or profound about the majority of them, they were worth alot laughs.
I'm reading The Eye in the Door by Pat Barker right now. I keep my 'to-read' list update to date if anyone cares to take a look.
I'm just starting "From Black Rooms" Stephen Woodworth. This is the last in his Violet series which I've really enjoyed.
I'm 75 pages into
Cujo
. I'm enjoying the scary bits but the thing has not yet hit the fan. Soon, though. Very soon.
I am now starting Twisted by Andrea Kane..I go from crying with Kristin Hannah to scaring the you know what out of me with Andrea Kane! :)
I finished: DMZ Vol. 4: Friendly Fire and Y: The Last Man Vol. 1: Unmanned and Scalped Vol. 4: The Gravel in Your Guts and Ex Machina, Vol. 2: Tag for my graphic fix. Also finished Dying to Live, was wondering if there were any opinions out there about that book and the followup?
Now reading H.U.B. - Humanity's Ultimate Battle and The Mystic Arts of Erasing All Signs of Death
I just finished reading Matched and I have a A Kiss in Time by Alex Flinn sitting on my night stand now.

Stared reaing The Robber Bride by Atwell. I'm finding it funny so far. I expected it to be more preachy like Cat's Eye,so I'm pleased.
I have finished
Halfway to the Grave This novel is an action packed page turner, which keeps the reader enthralled. I love the pace of this book, especially when it gathers speed towards it's exciting end. 5 stars
Storm Glass Not as good as the study series but still good. 3 stars
Naked in Death A topical story , with adult interactions, senators, and a shady boyfriend. Recommended, I will be reading more of this author 4 stars

The Hollow and
Lover Awakened
Finished Demon Thief and Wolf Island By Darren Shan not as good as Lord Loss but still readable now I'm reading Death's Shadow By Darren Shan and nearly finished Personal Demon By Kelley Armstrong
Sword of the Prophet: The Mahdi of Sudan and the Death of General Gordon, half way and really interesting and very well written. Also started finally Suite Française. Not sure what I think about it for now. There is a lot of describing but not so much happened yet.
Mmmm, for now the characters feel all a bit....empty, maybe unlikable like you said. I hope the story gets better though, fuller. I mean the name this book has, I need to get more than what i got for now!
I am still reading Everything That Rises Must Converge. I am really enjoying it. It's totally different from what I expected. I just wish I had more time to read. Life keeps getting in the way.
I just started reading The Kitchen House, and have a feeling I will be done with it very soon! Such a great choice for the book club here at TNBBC. I can't wait to start discussing it!
