I read this book and didn't really get into, has anyone else read it?

I haven't, but I'll get the free sample on iBooks; I can usually form tentative opinions about the author's writing style that way even if I don't decide to read the entire book. Then I'll come back and share any thoughts I had.

I am about a third of the way through this book. I am liking it so far. There is a prequel short story for this called The New World that was interesting as well.

I loved all the books in the series. Each for different reasons.
