I'm an author and artist. My website is http://artsunshinecoast.weebly.com. I've just launched a children's picture ebook on Amazon Kindle and it was oh such a journey that I am writing a blog on how the book arrived there safely. If you're planning a kids colour ebook, watch this space for a link to the blog for my experience.
Have just completed the blog I mentioned for finding the way through the maze in creating a children's picture ebook for Amazon Kindle and an option for getting paid that doesn't involve paper cheques (if you live outside US). Hope it's helpful. Blog link http://artsunshinecoast.weebly.com/blog

YOU GOT MALEWARE, DUDE!
Hello Malika, there are a number of good writers in my bookcase, waiting to be read. Few of the books in there are mine, as I use it as a further promotional tool for my friends.Al
Thank you Malika. I know it isn't as flashy as some sites, the background was a free one on Google but I loved it LOL
I've just started a blog but I have stopped it and am using my authors page on Jottify; a great resource for writers. On it are stories, poems reviews and comments and feed back from by fellow writers, and a link to buy my book and other stories can be downloaded for free for e-readers. Check it out, I recommend it for all writers. I get more reads, likes and comments on here than on my own blog http://jottify.com/writer/nickclarke/
The local paper that I write a column for did a story on my ebook. You can check it out here:http://www.fortwaynereader.com/story....
Served Cold: Tales of Revenge and Redemption is a collection of seven short stories focusing on the themes of revenge and redemption. If you've ever wanted to get even, or if you like to root for the underdog, check out these stories!

I am trying to figure out how to get my published book listed on Goodreads I am confused Can anyone help me please?
Hi Christine - go to My Books at the top of the page, then click on the 'add a book' link, and then a text link that says 'manually add a book'. That's what I did for my Kindle anthology, in any case.
If it is on Amazon, Christine you will have to upload it manually as Gr has issues with them. If it is not, then you should be able to do it from your pc files direct.

I just released my first novel, "The Coach House." Please visit my website for advice for new authors - advice I wish I had received before starting to write my first book. www.florenceosmund.comThe Coach House
1945 Chicago. Newlyweds Marie Marchetti and her husband, Richard, have the perfect life together. Or at least it seems until Marie discovers cryptic receipts hidden in their basement and a gun in Richard's desk drawer. When she learns he secretly attends a mobster’s funeral, her suspicions are confirmed. And when she inadvertently interrupts a meeting between Richard and his so-called business associates in their home, he causes her to fall down the basement steps, compelling Marie to run for her life.
Ending up in Atchison, Kansas, Marie quickly sets up a new life for herself. She meets Karen Franklin, a woman who will become her lifelong best friend, and rents a coach house apartment behind a three-story Victorian home. Ironically, it is the discovery of the identity of her real father and his ethnicity that unexpectedly changes her life more than Richard ever could.

Hi folks, read my revealing thoughts on pen names in A long story short.http://www.alongstoryshort.net/Concep...
An Ode to Indie authors.Having found a Goodread's thread,
And read through every link,
I smelt frustration oozing,
Which made me start to think.
Do we write for fame and fortune,
Or some other charming treasure,
Or is our motive purely,
Based on joy and pleasure?
If your main ambition,
Is gaining wealth and fame,
Try marrying into royalty,
Or win the lottery game.
But if we write for pleasure,
And three or four read our stuff,
And if those few enjoyed it,
Isn't that reward enough?
James Field
Yeah... well said once anyway. Three times though? The rewards of words are fleeting
Like the fruits of a band's first jam
But there's no excuse for sleeting
A Goodreads group with spam.
I write paranormal romances and am planning to publish my first novel, "Into the Deep" this summer. You can visit my blog here http://laurynapril.blogspot.com/where I write book reviews, discuss my experiences as an indie writer and share my thoughs on trends in reading.

Hi Everyone. My name is Matthew and I'm a fantasy writer and the author of "Hearth: Exile" on Amazon Kindle. My blog is a very different sort of animal, at mrjenks.wordpress.com. It is called Fields of Play (taken from a line in my book), and you can solve Puzzles and win prizes, add your own Lists (like Listopia), read about upcoming titles, releases etc. on my Author blog, and talk about almost anything at all on the 'Y' thread, though it's oriented towards the metaphysical. Hence the title - Fields of P.L.A.Y. Thanks for this opportunity.
Our blog is up! visit us at www.bragmedallion.com and join us to discuss all things self- published! If you haven't "liked" us at indiebrag on FB - please do and support us-
