I am a poet by habit and a writer by necessity. I am also commissioning editor for Endaxi Press and its Prosochi imprint.

Endaxi Press was initially set up in 2009 as a vehicle to produce my poetry books. As we learned the skills and crafts necessary we broadened that remit to include a very select number of authors in our publishing 'stable.'

Endaxi may be small - but we do things properly and to a very high standard.

My own poetry books can be seen as the grit which stimulated the oyster to produce the pearl. :)

Hello - remember me?

Lots been happening and I will have a bash at getting you caught up with the main stuff and try not to be too boring in the process.

1. Was invited to be one of the poets taking part in Sarajevo's International Poetry Festival.
This was a HUGE honour and although I tried very hard to make it so I could take part I was unable to do so. Very, very disappointed and I hope I will be able to visit Bos

“Rem tene, verba sequentur: grasp the subject, and the words will follow. This, I believe, is the opposite of what happens with poetry, which is more a case of verba tene, res sequenter: grasp the words, and the subject will follow.”
Umberto Eco, Postscript to the Name of the Rose

“I've never had a sustained period of medication for mental illness when I've not been on other drugs as well. It's just not something that I particularly feel I need. I know that I have dramatically changing moods, and I know sometimes I feel really depressed, but I think that's just life. I don't think of it as, "Ah, this is mental illness," more as, "Today, life makes me feel very sad." I know I also get unnaturally high levels of energy and quickness of thought, but I'm able to utilize that.”
Russell Brand, My Booky Wook

“Give a man a fire and he's warm for a day, but set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life.”
Terry Pratchett, Jingo
