Reflect on what you have read this year: What three books you have read best represent your reading this year? Naturally, you'll include your favorite and explain why it speaks to you, but don't stop there. What titles show your depth, breadth, and growth as a reader? In light of this, what is one reading goal you still wish to accomplish before the school year is over?

Of the 45 books I've read this school year, some clear patterns emerge. My fascination for YA literature is best represented by the under-appreciated Seth Baumgartner's Love Manifesto by Eric Luper , a book that is funny but also full of heart. My reading of The Boxer and the Spy by Robert B. Parker reflects my willingness to try new authors, and Adios, Nirvana by Conrad Wesselhoeft is by far the best recent book I've read, one that includes serious ideas about the meaning of life in the face of despair.

With only five weeks before finals, I need to read something more substantial (longer? more complex? deeper?) and Rotters by Daniel Kraus or The Monstrumologist (The Monstrumologist, #1) by Rick Yancey might fit that goal.

Autumn Recently, the book Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult has reflected my growth and improvement in reading. I hadn't read a 400-pager in quite some time, and the altranating between time and characters was a nice touch to a book that still has me thingking about it.
Then, there's theSarah Dessen titles that I initially rejected because they seemed "girly." Through them I broadened my horizons.
Then I Love You, Beth Cooper by Larry Doyle , the only book I laughed at constantly.

Kiara | 5 comments The three books that represent my reading this year are The Other Boleyn Girl because it shows my growth as a reader. It is a very adult book with lots of good language in it. Desperation/Regulators, The 2-copy combination package represents me also because of its language and how the book is written; its very big and takes lots of time. It represents my growth as a reader and also is one of my favorites. This is a very interesting, fast moving book. I loved the imagination it took to create this book. Last but not least, Tuesdays with Morrie. This book represents how many kinds of different books I can read and comprehend. I'm not just into one type of book. I have read historical fiction, fiction, and nonfiction and loved them all. This book also shows how compassionate i am.

Brooke Nichole Out of the books I have read, there are only a few that stand out to me. I enjoy the book A Certain Slant of Light, by Laura Whitcomb. I genuinly enjoyed this story, and even now, a week after finishing the book, I am craving it. Another book that reflected my reading, would be One child, btTorey Hayden. This book touched me, and I recommend it. The last one is the book Beastly, by Alex Flinn. This is a perfect Beauty and the beast story line, and I read through it faster than any other book I have read.

Elisabeth The three books that represent what I am reading now are Marcelo In The Real World by Francisco X. Stork , The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks and Dear John by Nicholas Sparks because these are all moving titles .I am reading Heaven Looks a Lot Like the Mall by Wendy Mass , this book rises the question where do we go when we die and what we do that is important to this subject. So my favorite book out of these three mentioned above would be the Notebook by Nicholas Sparks because it shows alot of dedication and persistance in love. My goal is to read all i can read every semester

Judith Galaviz 1.)Perfect Chemistry
2.)Dancing Naked: A Novel
3.)Living Dead Girl
All these 3 books caught my attention and they're very interesting they're all about different meanings in life like the 1st is about relationships, and problems that they have in life. The 2nd is sad but I'm glad I read it it's such a tear jerker.
Last but not least is the 3rd that book is scary. :D
