I currently have 168 unread books on my kindle.

I have a fairly constant 80-85 TBR books. I stopped downloading any old free book that came up and became a bit more particular. I also have half a dozen on my wish list waiting for the price to come down. BK (before Kindle) I would buy the hardback of some books I was desperate to read now, having 80 odd TBR I can wait!

I don't even want to contemplate how many are on mine at the moment. Even though I'm using Kindle for PC now that I am still without a physical Kindle due to it being stolen, the list still grows.

I have about 100 TBR books on my Kindle. I order so many novels and get so many of them free that the list just goes on and on. I plan on having a readful summer. So hopefully I will get through my stack of e-books.

Ack! Talk about a typo, I meant to write, "Do you loan your books?" I used the program a couple of times and I like it. It forced me to read the loaned books first. Yes, I can say that even though I don't have as many books on my Kindle, I've had a couple that's sat on there at least a year and I haven't read them. Sigh.... It's tough.

I like my Kindle 2 because of the text to speech. I like to listen to the Kindle read the book to me in the car on the way to work.

I'm playing around with loaning. I have to admit, someone loaned me Percy Jackson's The Lightning Thief back in JAn and I really appreciated it. I found a great new series for my 4th grader.

I've managed to pare down the TBR pile on my Kindle to about eight books. Unfortunately, five of those are French classics by Dumas and Victor Hugo... brick thick and in my second language, they might take a while!

I'm down to 15... I hate the thought of not reading everything and I do try to give them all a fair shot before I either delete or finish. I'm a mystery writer, humorous chick stuff, but I also like to read paranormal, sci-fi, dystopean, and my guilty pleasure romance. I just finished several books: River Song by Tess Hardin (free on Amazon) was mostly contempory romance, but could also be classified as women's fiction. Well Developed characters, really interesting and informative about restaurants and food business.
then I picked up The Written by Ben Galley. This was free on Kindle. Very good writer, kind of like JJR Martin and I think this is going to be a series. Then, I just finished "Weathered Too Young," by Marcia Lynn McClure... cowboy romance... If you know me, you're raising your eyebrows right now... Hey! It was sweet. I read it all, and liked it. So there.
Neither of these authors appear to be on GR... jeez!

I have 3-5 TBR on my Kindle that I own and 2 or 3 TBR library loans on my
Kindle. I like having a little stash for a "rainy day."

Unless a book is 4 stars or higher (by my rating), I delete when I am finished. Anything that was free or very inexpensive, I delete if I decide it isn't worth investing further time reading it.

I like to have just a few good books on hand. No trash. On the GoodReads site, I have 105 TBR.

It's the daily deal that gets me - 'Oh look at that book, that sounds quite interesting. Do I need it, well no! Hang on it's only 99p, it's worth trying...' Then it lands on my kindle!
