Here is the reading schedule for the third volume in Steven Erikson's "The Malazan Book of the Fallen" series, Memories of Ice--This is a real humdinger of a novel, folks. First, we are back on the continent of Genabackis with some old friends. Secondly, we gain a ton of knowledge about some of the Elder Races in Erikson's world. Finally, suffice it to say that this is one of the really amazingly beautiful and gut-wrenching tales of the entire series, at least in my humble opinion. Get reading, its a good one! Cheers!

This is my Fave book of all time Christopher...I dont normally cry while reading but I did twice in this book. It's kind of a crying record for me. Beautiful
This is easily my favorite too, of the ones I've read. (That would be the first 5 plus Night of Knives)

I've cried more times than I can count in this whole series, the first time was during Coltaine's fall and the second when Mappo helps Stormy and Gesler with the dogs Bent and Roach...
But yeah MiI is a beautiful book and I can't wait to read it again, so many favorite characters in this one and so many great friendships are made! :)
I thought I'd get a head start on this one too, but I'm certainly not halfway through yet. I've just read the prologue and am partway into the first chapter. It is definitely a big book. My copy has more than 1000 pages.
I started this one today. I'm looking forward to it, since it has such high praise. I doubt I will cry, though. But hey, you never know. :)
It's okay if youre behind! We keep talking about this no matter what...lol. Real life can get us behind easily. The threads stay open so chime in when you are ready
Haven't heard from folks in a while so I just wanted to check and see how everybody is doing!!?? Shells:)
So far behind, so many pages to catch up, need more hours in a day. Now to top it off I have Game of Thrones to watch! oh the dilemma.Just started book 2 of Memories, loving it, great having the Bridgeburners back and I am happy to see Toc the Younger back too, I enjoy this character, he has a great dry sense of humour.
Can't wait for when Paran finds out about Felisin, a the possibilities of a family reunion.
Still wondering when the historian will be making a return, but I guess that it might not be in this book at all.
Memories really is my favorite of all Lee...I only had one issue with it, and it gets cleared up later! So Happy Day!
I wont spoil anything for you...RAFO!
