I read Gone with the wind last year and loved it! I can imagine it being a novel I will read again some day.

I am currently re-reading A Game of Thrones. This is the first time I re-read a book, and it is still good. I truly love this book! I read, although I have a huge box of 25 books in my house that I have not read yet. Lucky me, yet I read this book again because I have no time to get into anything else... To busy studying and all...:) Although it never seems to disturb Rory!
I've finished Deadlocked by Charlaine Harris this afternoon and now I'm reading White Oleander by Janet Fitch.
I just finished "Atlas Snubbed"by: Ken Krawchakhttp://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13... and Now I am reading "Les Miserables."

It's a nice book...
I much prefer to read books than to listen to them. I mean it is a good way to pass the time during road trips, but it is not the same.
I've been perusing a few things lately. Normally this is a death knell for anything I read. However I've not only been coming back to books, but I've been making progress on several as well! Lately I've been reading East of Eden, Yoga for Dummies, Eat, Pray, Love, and The Heart is a Lonely Hunter.
What do you think of EAST OF EDEN and THE HEART IS A LONELY HUNTER? I have been planning to read these books.
I've already read East of Eden and I loved it. I definitely recommend it. I finished in 4 days the first time. Now I'm going back and savoring it. The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter is also pretty good. McCullers is really good at describing the atmosphere.
I've finished reading The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks earlier and now I'm starting Seven Up by Janet Evanovich.
I finished The Lovely Bones today. While I'm waiting for my next book to come in the mail, I thought if give Beastly a whirl.

Ellie wrote: "I've just finished reading White Oleander by Janet Fitch and I'm about to start The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks."How was White Oleander?
I am reading Anna Karenina. I love it so far, however, it does get confusing with all the "skys". I also do no understand why Tolstoy goes back and forth with calling Anna, Karenina and also Arkadyevna.
Kelly, It has to do with familiarity. One is a family nickname, one is their first name, and one is the patrynomic name. It confused me too.
Yesterday, I finished reading Seven Up by Janet Evanovich and today I've started The Client by John Grisham.
I´m finished reading The Golden Lily by Richelle Mead, yesterday. Also I read Erlöst mich by Simon Kernick. Now I´m waiting for a new book to read, but I don´t know which genre I will choose:/

:) it was my first David Sedaris I read but I really liked it I cant wait to read more of his stuff now
I've finished reading The Client by John Grisham last night and now I'm reading Island of Lost Girls by Jennifer McMahon.
I've finished reading Island of Lost Girls by Jennifer McMahon and now I'm a couple of chapters into Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James.
I'm reading Tolstoy's Resurrection, Dickens' Bleak House, and Stoker's Dracula. I am very firmly planted in the 19th century right now, LOL.
It sounds like it! I've mostly been reading healthy living books (the boyfriend and I are starting a diet), but I hope to get back to reading Madame Bovary and East of Eden this weekend.
Lori, I loved East of Eden. Definitely one of my favourite books! Enjoy...I've just started Hollow Earth - a fantasy about 12yo twins with the power to bring drawings to life and enter paintings. Seems promising so far.
Doreen, I love it too. I flew through it a couple of summers ago and am going MUCH more slowly this time. It's a great book to read a bit of and digest, even if it was a relatively unimportant (seeming, because I doubt Steinbeck would have added fluff for fun) chapter.
I'm reading Hearts in Atlantis, my first Stephen King. (Yeah, I know, waaaaaay late to the party on that one!)
I've finished reading Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James earlier today and now I've started The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne.
Ellie wrote: "I've finished reading Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James earlier today and now I've started The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne."How did you like Fifty Shades of Grey? I picked up a copy and have been reading it here and there, but so far I'm not enjoying it.
Right now I'm more focused on A Clockwork Orange, more to my liking.
Caitlin wrote: "How did you like Fifty Shades of Grey? To be honest, I found the book to be as erotic as a stale cheese sandwich.

Oh my goodness, that's poor news indeed! I find it hard to enjoy erotic moments in books unless the characters and story is well rounded, otherwise it's meaningless to me. It's all coming across very young and juvenile so far, but I suppose that's what I get for an impulse buy.
I've finished reading The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne this morning and now I'm about to start Certain Girls by Jennifer Weiner.
