My score was 300 to 350 wpm. I am a pretty fast reader and at times have read as many as 8 books in one week. I do live alone and I don't have cable tv, so there isn't much to distract me except writing on my own books and working a full time job.

My score was 300-350. I also took the comprehension test to see if i absorbed everything and I scored a 100% yay.
I'm not sure how fast I read but I can usually read a 500 page book in a day or two if I really like it. Not trying to brag or anything.
I've read 25 books so far this year, in about forty days. I read what I read pretty fast, I don't usually read president's speeches. But I do listen to them, which is what they were designed for, unless they are more recent, then they are written to be watched.
Depends on how into the book I am. If I'm super into it, about a day...regardless of length...unless I have to go do stuff like work and things. In that case, two days max for a reaaalllyy good book.
I agree, Vicki, it depends on the book. If I have to suffer through it and make myself continue reading because I want to see how it ends or I've invested too much time already not to see how it turns out, it could be a few days. Ones that draws me instantly and don't let go, I'll finish it the same day. I prefer those types of books because I like to read as much as possible and is desperate to get on to the next book.
I read pretty fast. I normally read about a book a day if not more if I have the time. It gets harder with work and school. But when I have the free time normally finish a whole book of 400-500 pages in about 5 hours. Depending on how good it is.
I got 650-700 extremely efficient. Wow! This test is really cool. I normally read at least one book a day - my record being 4. Needless to say I run out of good books to read on a daily basis!
300-350 wpm, but let's be honest the material I read is written completely different from the piece in that test.. English is not my first language, I'm pretty decent at English though, but that was not something I would read for fun xDI read about 90-110 pages an hour, 80-90 if the book is annoying me a lot, so I can finish a book in 3-4 hours. I average 2 books a week currently - in the middle of moving so not much spare time on my hands. Hopefully I'll be back at 3 books a week when I'm done moving :)
As a school librarian - I try to read a book a day just because I need to stay on top of what books to purchase, books to recommend, booktalks, etc.
But I have found that the faster I read, the less I will remember the book. So if the book is very good, I will read it a lot slower and savor what I read.

You read between 800 - 850 words per minute. Super reading level. (The average rate is between 200 - 250 words per minute.) It is assumed that you did not skim the words nor fail to understand the meaning of what was read.
After taking the test it said 300 -350 WPM which is above average. I tend to read a book every 2-3 days.

600 - 650wpm is what the test said. However, I don't read that fast when I am enjoying a story - tend to read at "talking pace" so that I can fully enjoy the story.
I generally try to read one book a week - I read mostly on the weekend due to school during the week.
I got 450-500 WPM. If the book is good and fast-paced, it takes me about 1-2 days to finish it. But I read my favorite parts over and over again so I could savor them so that takes a while haha For books that are a tad dramatic, it takes me about a week because I often switch to funny books when the drama escalates. I have issues with books taking an emotional toll on me haha
I don't know how many words I read per minute , but I read usually 5 to 6 books per week and if my schedule of the week is not loaded I can read more
Depends on the book. I generally read about a page per minute—on average. That means somewhere between 250 and 300 wpm. When on a reading binge, I read a book / day but have read 2 per day at times. When not on a binge I read a book / week—usually because I've been writing and by yhe time I start reading, I'm almost ready to sleep.
If i am absolutely doing nothing i can probably read 1-2 books in 1 day but i read at least 1-4 books on a school week.
Agonizingly slow but able to lock out world while in the zone. That makes up like the turtle to the rabbit. Thus my review #s. I write as well and fit life and work around those.
I'm a lot like another reader here—it depends on my mood, and on the book. My average speed winds up being about a page per minute, which works out to something between 250 and 325 WPM, but sometimes i read faster than this and sometimes I linger over the wording on a page, if it's especially well written. A book is not a race for me, but something to be experienced. If the experience is not so good then I may want to get it over fast, but also if the story is gripping then I may want to know what happens next.
