Becca | 1608 comments Sorry Holly, I'm still working on getting my last five pick from the library. I thought I would pipe in because no one else seemed to have read any of Wendy's books. Someone else is welcome to pick for her.

message 134: by [deleted user] (new)

message 135: by Heidi (new)

Heidi Holly wrote: "finally got hunger games from the library and stayed up til 4 am reading it! finished it and loved it! really wasnt a book i ever would have picked up and said "wow, i need to read that one" but i ..."

I think most of us thought the same thing about the book before we read it. I know I did. I kept putting it off.

Heidi (the original) wrote: "Holly wrote: "finally got hunger games from the library and stayed up til 4 am reading it! finished it and loved it! really wasnt a book i ever would have picked up and said "wow, i need to read th..."

I did to till i just bought it.then it sat on my shelf..and i was told by so many to read it, and read all the excitement about mockingjay soon coming out, so i decided to read it and see what all the hype was about..and read it within a few hours cause i couldn put it down!

message 137: by amy (new)

amy (asmith519yahoocom) | 80 comments ok, so i finished Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta i little while ago, and maybe i was too preoccupied while i was reading it, but i was kinda lost. anyway, ready for some help deciding what to read next.

Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen Entwined by Heather Dixon A Living Nightmare (Cirque Du Freak, #1) by Darren Shan Sisters Red (Sisters Red, #1) by Jackson Pearce A Northern Light by Jennifer Donnelly what do y'all think?

message 138: by amy (new)

amy (asmith519yahoocom) | 80 comments read Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen i liked it, didn't love it. reminded why i don't usually read "grown-up" books. very creative though!

message 139: by Heidi (new)

Heidi That stinks Amy! I love her books.

message 140: by amy (new)

amy (asmith519yahoocom) | 80 comments i should say that i really did like the story. i thought it was very original and imaginative. i've never read anything quite like it. i guess i'm just kind of a prude about some things. i don't really like to read books with sex in them. it wasn't graphically described or anything, but, it's just not a book i would share with my daughter. i would read more of her books though, she has a creative style that i like. would you recommend any more of hers heidi?

message 141: by Heidi (new)

Heidi I think you should read The Girl Who Chased the Moon by Sarah Addison Allen - that one is more innocent as it has a pair of teens in the lead. I am worried about Garden Spells now because I gave my copy to my sister and my 15 year old niece took it from her and is reading it. I knew there was some sexual stuff, so I hope it is not too inappropriate. I couldn't remember!

message 142: by Kristina (new)

Kristina (kristinalawhead) Okay I don't know what I am in the mood for, I recently finished Definitely Dead (Sookie Stackhouse, #6) by Charlaine Harris

My next 5 are
