Maia, because Simon matching with shy but tough girl like maia and i think isabelle is a playgirl..
Isabelle is better for Simon. Maia should be with her ex. But I think any readers who have read City of Fallen Angels understand who Simon supposed to be...:)
at first isabelle seemed to just be playing around with simon for a while not even rly wanting a relationship, just flirting and getting his attention. at that point i wanted maia to be with him. but with new characters being introduced, it kinda all switches around what with isabelle being a lot more serious about simon and *spoiler* maia getting back together with her ex, jordan. this is why i rly did lyk COFA as opposed to other's opinions because cassie keeps it interesting! she mixes everything up! i mean after all, in my opinion, its not a good story-book or movie- if u know what is going to happen in the future...to me that is no fun at all. thus, i adore the mortal instruments series much much more than the alternative, twilight or some other series, which brings us to a totally different discussion....ok im gonna stop now. :)

Definitely Maia - I really love all the characters in this series. So life-like...bring on the movie I say!!! :)
I love Isabelle but she just doesn't seem right for Simon--in my opinion anyway. I wouldn't mind them together, but since he didn't get Clary, Isabelle and Maia just happened to be there, then Maia's ex walks in so Plan Maia's a fail that Izzy & Simon as a couple seem kind of... convenient. I mean, I guess things do have a chance of perfectly falling together like that, but since this is a book its kinda like since the fans wanted them together, they are. I always thought Maia was more compatible for him. And I thought the idea of Vampire-Werewolf romance would be cool. Camille would appreciate that ;) Oh wait, I think you need to read Clockwork Angel to get that last sentence
Oh man!, I really like the 2 girls,but Isabell has something special & I would love that she & Simon end up together :)

Okay this is kind of a spoiler, but may i remind all of you in the end of CoFA Maia ends up with Kyle/Jordan, who i think she was perfect with. SO like ya Isabelle

Trinity, you're completely right. Isabelle has a whip. Big deal. Maia, however, can change into a wolf AND kill demons. I know the whole werewolf/vampire conflict, but come on! Maia is waaaaay more down to earth (and not just because she's a Downworlder) and Simon appreciates that. He isn't the high-maintenance kinda guy in my opinion. Isabelle is DEFINITELY high-maintenance, but Maia? She's just all around cool and laid back.
Before reading City of Fallen Angels, I would have said Maia....but now I would pick Isabelle...I won't give COFA away to those who haven't read it. But, after reading this book, I think Simon would be better off with Isabelle for sure!!!! =]
I like Isabelle for Simon, I know she is a little to girly and has an attitude but,I like her better than Maia. I don't really like Maia that much, I guess its because we hear about her way less, then we hear about Isabelle, I kind of felt that when Maia was brought into the picture, I was rolling my eyes every time she was in the scenes. She tried to attack Simon in CoA, damn it.
We find out that Isabelle kinder in CoFA, and Simon is starting to like her more, well Maia was just another character that wad pointless to me, and that ends up with her ex,, of course , I know I'm sounding like a hater, my bad,
I'd go with Isabelle. With Simon around she has opened up quite a bit.And I'd like to see some more of Maia and Jordan together.
If I didn't read CoFA, then I would want Maia with Simon, but all fails nicely into place. I agree Maia is the female version of Simon. I like the tension and ultimate drama of natural enemies, werewolf and vampire, falling in love kind of like Edward and Bella. I like Maia A LOT and I would want her for a friend if I knew her. I think Isabelle is a good role model of a strong, independent woman, but she scares me. I think Simon is too nice and probably not interesting enough for Isabelle. I also worry that in Book 5 or 6, maybe the author will somehow weave it so that Clary ultimately ends up with Simon. Believe me as the books have gone on, Simon has become most intriguing and a beloved character. I read the author designed Simon after her husband, so I hope the story doesn't spin back that Clary ends up with the nice boy next door, Simon, rather than Jace who sets her heart on fire :) I love this new vulnerable Jace too :) I guess we'll see how it all plays out! The waiting is the hardest part :)
at first I wouldve said maia but after COFA there are certain things that happen and certain characters that come into play that changed my mind to isabelle
and if you think of it simon has always cared for izzy differently than any of the others
Isabelle......I think Maia belongs with the other werewolf guy. Besides Isabelle's a SHADOWHUNTER!!!! :)

I love both girls, they both know how to kick butt! But for Simon I think he'll end up with Isabelle while Maia will end up with Jordan! They are sooo good together! For those who disagree I recomend for you to read The City of Fallen Angels
I would have to pick Maia she is a were wolf and an downworlder too so it would make more sense and I like maia better
Well i like a lot both of them. But i prefer Maia for Simon.
